Aqua Pool And Spa - The Good, The Bad And The Ugly Pool plumbing sux, plaster is very spotty, customer service is the worst! Manteca California

Ok last summer we bought a Aqua Pool and Spa Pool with a good sized spa attached to the pool. the construction process was terrible but it was expected. At that time I was floored when they demolished my front mow strip/planter area, snapped a HUGE portion of the pre-existing patio off and yea what a mess! When I asked my project manager what are they going to do about it? he replied "Nothing, unless you bought the insurance...did you buy the damage insurance?" WTF! my salesman said nothing about insurance, in fact if he would of we would have purchased it.

Next came the beer drinking plumbers who was told by the PM to not throw dirt in existing planters with the river rock...they buried the rock....talk about a mess! Shortly after the pool was complete twice a day for about 30-40 minutes we would hear a loud hissing sound and the loudest thump in the wall near our water heater, this noise was not there before, not until after the pool was built so...we call and they tell us its our plumbing-water heater and has nothing to do with the pool....WRONG! we spent a ton of money with a plumber just to find out that my water heater is fine, my existing plumbing is fine.

By this time its winter, the auto fill is pretty much dorment with rain and chilly weather but wait it gets better....we have a warm sping this year, the water dissapates and the auto fill kick right back on once a day around 1:30 am then again around 11am, hissing sounds starts and the continious THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP on and on for 30-40 minutes....meaning NO SLEEP!

So as the title states The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The Good:
Our weekly service guy rocks, he does a great job cleaning the pool and could ask for anyone better than him!

The Bad:
1- Their customer service dept....I had an emergency on a saturday...they didnt call till the following wednesday

2- Their Plumbiers, trash your yard, drink on the side of your house and leave the cans there.

3- I followed the instructions to the letter about the pebble fino finish and it looks terrible, there are brush marks, rough areas in the finish that we complained about and they completely ignored us

4- mystery rust marks on the deck concrete.....I Leave nothing on that deck that will rust...and they are on the edges.

5- their sales guy that didnt offer up the insurance that I would have bought!

The Ugly:
This noise that has been brought on by them that they will not take ownership of! we will try and get them to listen but they probably wont!

So would I recomend them? No! go with a smaller company Like Sxxx(((REDACTED))), they had no problems answering questions we had that Aqua didnt and wouldnt answer. Heck The Sxxx guy still calls to say hi and ask if were enjoying our pool.

Dont get me wrong I love our pool, but that noise is terrible and for them to NOT take ownership of it was just wrong!
