Arby's ripoff I'm thinkin' Arby's Better think again Clarksville Arkansas

I'm tired of being ripped off by all these fast food corporations...they give you absolutely no respect and then look at you like your insane when you want them to rectify the situation...here is my lastest travesty...

I went to the Arby's in our town on June 17th, 2007 to "cook" dinner for our family after being bombarded via cable for weeks with the scrumptuous temptations of the 5 for 5.95 popcorn chicken, roast beef, curly fries...

It being almost 9pm, and us living in a rural community, we of course called them first to make sure that they would be open and read to serve us...the night mgr answered and told us to come on down...

When we got there there were bugs so thick by the drive-thru window that we had to keep our car windows rolled up or face the wrath of the disgruntled insects...they had us wait almost 10 minutes for our order, and when we did finally receive it, it was in 2 sacks...(usually when you order 3 pick 5's they sack each pick 5 in its own sack...however, this alone would not prompt me to fire off this report as well as call their corporate headquarters and complain online via arby's comment section...so to vent while I am waiting for the District Mgr, Tonya Carruthers, to call me back, I am writing you this letter...P.S. I have been waiting for over 2 hrs for her to call me right back!!!)...But I DIGRESS...

When we got home, which takes about 7 minutes, we found that the onion petals and some of the cheese sticks were upside down in the sack...still not REALLY a problem, I mean, come on I'm not a prat, I'm perfectly capable of putting my onion petals back in their respective containers...

So I'm shuffling the food back in it's containers and notice that when full, there was one more onion petal container than there were onion petals...that's not cool...hey where are my curly fries???missing...now I'm like those construction workers in the commercial...I WILL chase after a moving vehicle for my ccuurrllyy ffrriieess!!!

And that popcorn chicken that looks so good and flowing over in the commercials???four little pieces in 2 of the containers and 5 in the other(the popcorn chicken was not upside down in the sack, that's how I know the exact count!!!)

So we call Arby's for the second time of the night...the time was 9:47pm...and asked the night mgr to rectify the situation...which he said he couldn't cause they were about to close...but he said that they would be more than happy to replace the order in the morning if we would just come by...

So we sat down to eat, only to find out that the cheese sticks were cold, and that's a REAL shame, cause those stretchy, melty, chewy cheese sticks are THE BEST IN THE WORLD when fresh and hot but are NASTY when cold...and that roast beef with cheddar, where's the beef???for that matter, where's the cheddar???all of the sandwiches were the same...and that's another shame...too little roast beef or ham(a 1/4 inch of meat is FALSE advertising if you watch the commercials)...too little cheddar(a quarter sized dollop on the corner of the sandwich does not a Roast Beef and Cheddar MAKE!!!)...But still, the night mgr stated that they would replace the order
the next day, so, I got out my Fritos and finished my cold meal...

Now I'm not mentioning the fact (Or am I?;-))that I haven't been able to keep down solid food since last night, noone else here has the trots, but noone else ate any of the Tangy Southwest Sauce(which is usually the BOMB!!!)...I can't afford to go to the hospital, but I am going to call the health department when I get done with this letter and ask them what to do...a little samanilla hasn't killed me yet, but a child or elderly person might provoke a different situation...so, through my headache and upset stomache I shall soldier on!!!

We made it back down to the local Arby's at around 1:30pm(I did this on purpose so as to avoid the noon rush...DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE!!!if you need to talk to a mgr, go in during the busiest part of the day and DEMAND LOUDLY in front of ALL the customers for your refund!!!)and I talked to Mgr Jeff Vire...who basically told me that he would give me my curly fry and an onion petal...he would do absolutely nothing about the food being cold or there being less than one bite of cheese on the sandwiches and claimed that Arby's only requires them to put 5 peices of popcorn chicken in each container(remember I only got 13 of the 15 peices I should have!!!) THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was rude, crude, and totally removed and I AM PEEVED!!!I want my money back, I want a free meal, I want an apology, and I'm seriously considering NEVER going to another Arby's as long as I live...

Now, I have experience as an Arby's customer...I used to be an expedited shipper and lived off of Arby's while on the road...I have never been dissatisfied with the service of an Arby's anywhere else...and like I said, their cheese sticks are the BOMB!!! However, if you are ever travelling down I-40 through Arkansas and see the Arby's sign at Exit 58 in Clarksville, do yourself a favor, and go to the Wendy's on the other side of the Interstate!!!

Thank you for listening to me vent...and don't let those fast food corporations rip you off!!! you have a voice, use it...
