Arby's Does NOT honor coupons from the Okeechobee Newspaper Okeechobee, Florida

The Arby's Restaurant located in Okeechobee, Florida is NO bargain at all! I can get passed the fact that there are rude people working there, I can get passed the fact that they are very high on their prices, but one thing I can't get passed is their non-acceptence of coupons in their "own town's" newspaper!!!
 
This pass Sunday there was a whole page of coupons for Arby's in the Okeechobee Newspaper. Yes it did state that "not all restaurants honor these coupons" but we are talking about the only Arby's in Okeechobee! You have to go to the coast to find another Arby's but I would not waste my gas. This is not a Palm Beach Post newspaper, it is a tiny, little newspaper that we in Okeechobee rely on for saving a little bit of money in order to give us and our children a little treat every so often.

Today 02/13/12 my wife took the coupons into Arby's in Okeechobee, Fl. and ordered 10 Arby's classic sandwiches and presented her coupon (from the Okeechobee News), that was for (5) sandwiches for $6.95 up to 20 sandwiches. The clerk told my wife "we do not accept coupons at this location as it is privately owned and the owner will not get reimbursed for the coupons."

The order was also for non-coupon items, but my wife was not going to give them the pleasure of giving them hard to come by money she had earned. There was NO apology just a lame excuse and after finishing this report I will contact Okeechobee News, and Facebook to have this "FREE" advertisement not to be published in our newspaper any longer.

This is short of fraud and even though they put in the disclamer at the bottom of the coupons, it should NOT be in our newspaper where there is only one location in the whole city. I will pray this location goes out of business and I wish more people would stand their ground and run them out of town.

In March we have a new Applebee's opening and Arby's will suffer dearly, because Applebees's treats their customers with respect and makes you feel as though your business is well appreciated. Goodbye Arby's, ALL arby's from this day forward! Before I forget, last time we were at this Arby's, they were out of Arby's Sauce. Woops!

Guess the owner is saving money there too. I want to encourage any replys to my horror story, and advise the good folks of Okeechobee to boycott this location and force them out of our town as their welcome has worn out. Thank You.
