I worked for Arctic express some time ago , and I am writing this because the DURST family and staff,dispatch ....I believe tried to kill or have killed some innocent drivers. I was one of them .If you offend one trucking company owner they will stand together like organized crime families.
I have drove a truck for about 10 yrs and have the understanding that trucking companies will collude together to blacklist drivers or worse try to have them killed....It sounds crazy ,but its true.
(via directing drivers into adverse weather ice blizzards with the help of a unsafe truck with bad breaks, ect)......... threatening drivers to take loads and drive under dangerous conditions or be terminated!........thats how it works at arctic express and many other trucking companies ,........However ...trucking companies cant do it alone ,...they have protection from criminal goverments and trucking associations ...........such as the ohio trucking association....who protects criminals like the Durst family.i
Ask yourself the question why are criminals like the durst still in business?.........because ,officals are surely bribed and or Arctic express gets a citation for $100 for safety violations against the public and drivers!.............and , I must mention dac usis,hire right.........who change their name every month.......probably the worst private agency responsible for murder and criminal activity.
If we stand together (truckers and other victims) we can certainly overcome these evil corporations and non existant business=run government.

Arctic Express is a family owned refrigerated motor carrier that opened its doors in 1981. Mr. Durst opened the business to support his family (wife and 3 sons) and as a way to help other families be employed and support their families. As with many family businesses, Mr. Durst was fortunate to be able to provide work for many in his immediate and extended family (Almost everyone in that family has worked here at some point in time: wife, all 3 sons, Mr. Durst brother and sister, his mother Betty, his nephew and brother in law, etc). And many drivers and office staff have been with Mr. Durst so long that they feel like family too.
Mr. Durst counts it a huge privilege and huge responsibility to care for his employees and their families. At no point in time has an intentional effort been made to put anyone in harms way either due to weather conditions or equipment. At Arctic Express when a driver says they can't keep driving because of the weather, they stop driving. We trust our professional drivers because they are the ones behind the wheel seeing and feeling the road conditions. If they can't go further, then they don't. If they have serious concerns about the truck, it goes to the nearest shop to be looked over by professionals and repaired.
The other claims made in this review are so outrageous I'm not even sure how to respond to them. The Dursts are not criminals, no government officials have ever been nor ever will be bribed, the OTA is not protecting anyone and no trucking companies are not organized crime families.
It's our hope that this brief response will help calm any concerns new drivers might have after reading ridiculous accusations that have zero truth to them. If you have more questions, please feel free to call us and we can clarify any and all of them.
