Area Circulation Inc Magazine Company tries to get double payment Virginia Beach Virginia

I am writing this so that this does not happen to nobody else. About a year and a half ago Area Circulation contacted me about receiving a diamond watch as a free gift. Since Valentines Day was just two weeks away I thought that should make a nice gift. Boy was I ever wrong.

By accepting the "free gift" I was talked into purchasing five subscriptions at the low price of $33.50 a month. sounds easy right, wrong it took them three months to send one of my magazines and during that time they were taking money out of my bank account.

I then called the customer service to cancel my magazines as was told that I couldn't cancel. Shortly there after I received my magazines with no problem. Until I received another call from Area Circulation saying that I was a good customer and they wanted to reward me with free five new subscriptions.

Well they were not free I ended up being talked into another magazine payment of $35.88 being taken out of my bank. Since then I have received a statement in the mail ever month saying that I owe past due amounts, how is that possible when they take directly from my bank account. Because it is taken from my account it has made my account go negative up to $ 100.00 on several occasions because they try to double bill me . Again I tried to contact Area Circulation only to be left on hold and hung up on. I finally had to call my bank to handle the situation.
