To all fellow hard working truck drivers.  I met this individuals by an add on craiglist.  These guys are putting drivers just like nothing in any truck to move freight for J.B. Hunt from Cardone Industries from Brownsville and Harlingen,Tx area.  They (James and Samson) have very bad but bad communication skills, they'll either not answer your phone calls nor texts.  Don't get me wrong, whey you are signing up with them, they'll even call you and at a point push you to have your truck ready to roll. But when it comes to asking questions about the pay...That's when it all starts.

Things they will never recognize they're doing wrong, but will charge you $200 if late.

They get trailers out of Cardone Industry's yard in order for them not to get in trouble with J.B. Hunt, but wait...that trailer needs to be delievered at a certain date and time.  Obviously the logistic department from J.B. Hunt notates on their system that trailer is on route, NEGATIVE, not on route. Samson is barely getting an owner operator on that load, 3 to 4 hours later an owner operator shows up to take load, that trailer is already late since they had removed it earlier.  When it's getting late, BUCKLE UP!  That ignorant Samson guy starts texting you with vulgar language, like if he owns you and the load.  Very unprofessional, but that' not it, they are already grabbing that pen to charge the $200 late fee for a trailer they gave the owner operator that to start off, it was already late when dispatched.  Not only that the round trip is considered ONE trip...what does that mean?  It means, you'll be late again when coming back home....another $200 late fee.  RIP OFF RIP OFF.  And they will not hesitate to deduct and will avoid by all means to listen to your argument of why you were late.  You will lose the case, no matter if you got the trailer late from them, it's your responsobility for accepting such load.  I hope something can be done.

BEWARE OWNER OPERATORS!!!

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds

DON'T BE LATE

AUTHOR: James - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 12, 2017

As the individual mentioned once you have accepted a load of auto parts you do so with the full knowledge that if you are late you will be responsible to pay your late fee. The individual who created this report might make mention that it is clearly stated in his contract that once you accept a load you are responsible to be on time. These loads allow owner operator's living in the Brownsville area to pick up a pre-loaded trailer in Brownsville and drop it in Philadelphia then pick up another preloaded trailer and return straight back to Brownsville. If a driver is habitually delivering late we can not retain them on these runs. We are a service provider we are expected to deliver on time. Anyone reading this imagine if you paid for a package to be delivered next day and the driver showed up 2 days late. So to say we lied about the late fees when you must sign a contract stating that you will be fined is absurd. As far as not being able to reach a dispatcher when you want has been a problem we have had and have since hired an additional dispatcher dedicated to this account.
