My personal experience

 I was a student at the Tampa Argosy University campus in the Marriage Family Therapy Program  from 2007- 2010. When I started I had no problems, but when it was time to start my internship it was HELL!   It was crazy! I had no problems until INTERNSHIP! My GPA 3.89. Initially, the school said they would help students find a field site, but they never did. They did not have a list of schools or sites for placement. I was told, " List are not a good place to look for a site" My thought ! It's a good place to start! I made a comment in a field placement meeting to help students fine a site, however, after  I missed a semester because  I could not find a site and they would not approve  any of the sites I found. Also, they promised they would prepare you take the COMP exam, but they don't.  I was told to study my notes for all  my MFT classes, but nothing was on the COMP exam from the professor notes. Also,  the 40 MFT  questions and graded by hand, not with a  scan sheet. That concerned me!. I transferred and completing my Master Degree at another school, however,  since then they only have 2 fulltime staff in the MFT. It is believed the chair and two others have with been  terminated. Also, their is a lawsuit pending against EDMC   by the governemnt  for illegal recuritment practices.  The Tampa Argosy Campus is a NO NO.
