Armando Montelongo Seminars, LLC has a F-rating on the BBB website with 73 complaints in the past 3-years.

Armando Montelongo Seminars big rip off.We went to their free seminar for a high pressure sell, over a 2-hour drive. They wanted $1497.00 for the 3-day training class and another $800.00 for access to there online website. The made a big deal how the have webinars online and asked if anyone has heard of this new technology.

All the time they kept saying how we could get rich by buying and selling houses and renting apts, what they don't tell you is there is a huge cost involved.. not just for the training classes but for getting loans to buy  the foreclosures.

The entire time I was listening to there speech, I could see there so called "mentors" laughing in the corner and acting very shady. At the end of this 2-hour nonsense, over 20 people signed up with them, this company made a instant profit of $30,000. A lot of these people look really poor to begin with. Al they do is go from city to city to rip people off

One of there so called students named Steven Nagy comes up and says he went to Florida to become a pool boy but didn't realize how hot Florida was, really?. He goes on talking about buying Tax Liens but there is all secret information that is not included in the $1497.00 3-day class, that will be another $800.00

He goes on to say how "we" are going to take of you guys and give you a special discount. I asked a lot of questions about there promises they did not want to answer.

I even asked Mr. Naggy if he can explain all the scams about this company and the numerous complains with the BBB, he said, don't sign up then.

This package supposedly costs $3000.00 online and $1000.00 for the online materials and $30/month after that, but we are getting it for only $2297.00 total, what a deal.

What you get is a packet with worthless books and worthless cd's.

The contract states you have 3 business days to cancel and only by Fax. I would suggest you also send them a return receipt letter in the mail with a copy of the contract when you have to battle this with your credit card company.

There customer service dept is very rude as well.

The so-called training class is just another upsell, someone named Bob Venter starts in on how we get our hand held on a bus ride with Armando Montelongo for the rate of $23,995.00 or a Mentor for 3 days for $18,995.00.

If you do attend there seminar, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM

Uninformative Report based on conjecture

AUTHOR: StPetePaul - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, August 12, 2012

I read the report poasted and had to comment.  I have not been to a seminar nor purchased any of the Montelong materials.

However, I do not understand how this gentleman can make comments when he was allowed to attend a free seminar with a choice to participate and to buy further materials.  He obviously was complaining due to additional training costs.  Yes, training in any trade or endeavor is rarely free.  College in example is not free. Studying for a realestate license is not free.  Why would you expect this training to be free.

Further, you comment the materials and CD's are garbage, yet you obviously did not buy the additional materials. So how were you able to evaluate the usefulness of the materials if you did not buy or put to use the training or materials.

Further, the idea of flipping homes is ancient and indeed it is common for investors to buy and resale homes for a profit.

In conclusion I found the complaint merely a rant and rave.  No basis for his conclusions were evident such as tried and failed. Or any specifics regarding why the materials or seminar was a rip off.  Nothing tried, nothing gained.

The gentlemen may be able to do his own research and use trial and error flipping homes and may succeed or fail on his own.
I suspect the training and materials are simply "Knowledge" that has been packaged into a program that may help to accelerate one's success in this program assuming one is willing to put in the work.  No surprise, when one puts an honest effort and hard work into nearly any program they have a greater degree of becoming successful.

Best regards,
StPetePaul

Armando Montelongo: Weclome to Scamtown

Armando Montelongo Seminars, LLC has a F-rating on the BBB website with 73 complaints in the past 3-years.

Armando Montelongo Seminars big rip off.We went to their free seminar for a high pressure sell. They start off with nonsense videos proclaiming Mr. Montelongo saved there lives. Oh yea.. Armando wasn't even there, just a cardboard picture of him.

Then they make there speech for about 45 mins, trying to entice the audience. When it's said and done, they try to sell you on a 3-day training class for the low low price of $1500.00.

You cannot pay this off, they want cash or a credit card right there and then or they won't talk to you.  I counted at least 20-25 that signed up.

Now round 2, for those of you who signed up they go on to say, we have another special deal for you.. online training with this new technology called webinars for only $800 more.

They ask the crowed if anyone has heard of this new technology. What a joke.

All the time they kept saying how we could get rich by buying and selling foreclosed houses and renting apts with the profits, what they don't tell you is there is a huge cost involved.. not just for the training classes but for getting loans to buy  the foreclosures.

Sure, you may get a house cheap that someone moved out of or was evicted from, but do you really want to spend tens of thousands of dollars replacing everything inside and out at your own cost.

They promise you wont spend any of your money with this business, but we already spent $1500 and another $800 more.

The more they spoke, the more disgusted I was with this company.

The entire time I was listening to there speech, I could see there so called "mentors" laughing in the corner and acting very shady. At the end of this 2-hour nonsense, over 25 people signed up with them, this company made a instant profit of $30,000 ripping people off. A lot of these people look really poor to begin with. Al they do is go from city to city to rip people off.

Yep.. they don't make money in real estate , they make money off scamming you.

One of there so called students named Steven Nagy comes up and says he went to Florida to become a pool boy but didn't realize how hot Florida was. Wow, what a genius.

He goes on talking about buying Tax Liens but there is all secret information that is not included in the $1497.00 3-day class, That will be another $800.00

He goes on to say how "we" are going to take of you guys and give you a special discount. I asked a lot of questions about there promises they did not want to answer. Basically told me too bad.

The contract states you have 3 business days to cancel and only by Fax. I would suggest you also send them a return receipt letter in the mail with a copy of the contract when you have to battle this with your credit card company. If you want till after the class to cancel, too late.

They are noting more than modern day snake oil salesman. There customer service dept is very rude as well.

The so-called training class is just another upsell, someone named Bob Venter starts in on how we get our hand held on a bus ride with Armando Montelongo for the rate of $23,995.00 or a Mentor for 3 days for $18,995.00.  At least this is what someone who went into the training class told me.

If you do attend there seminar, please DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM
