Armstrong Flooring, Representative Kathey Griffel 1-877-276-7876 ext. 8884 needs to stop helping Danny-Daniel Lee Batterbee of dlb Flooring source 3118 Corrine Drive Orlando bait and switch people on flooring.

In case you did not know Daniel Lee Batterbee of dlb Flooring source 3118 Corrine Drive uses your products to bait and switch people on flooring materials. If you practice ethical business you will stop distributing your products to this con man and his accomplice Mark Langlois. I understand that times are tough right now and you need to sell as much product as possible but I can guarantee you that nothing good will come out of continuing to do business with Danny and his shop dlb Flooring source 3118 Corrine Drive Orlando. You will be doing yourself a favor now by dropping him.

He sells and advertises your products on Craigslist. What you may or may not know is that Danny sells people brand name materials then sends his installers with a less expensive product to install.

More evidence of this can be seen here on the ripoff report by searching for his name or business or you can just click this link below where he admitted to bait and switch but feebly attempted to blame it on his installer forgetting about the paper trail that would have been left the receipt and delivery confirmation from you, that he does not have because he never ordered it from you. The scam also made the Orlando sentinel. Thats the local news paper.

Daniel Lee Batterbee was caught baiting the Exposito family by selling them your Armstrong Flooring laminate at a price they could hardly afford. Then he switched the material he sent with his installer Mark Langlois (lois) with a much cheaper Sonitex laminate. The product is boxed and shipped as Sonitex to Soni Interiors (AKA RugKing) http://soniinteriors.com/ 201 Hickman Dr. Sanford, FL 32771 Phone: 407 323 5444 Fax: 407 323 0701.

It was defiantly not your Armstrong product there is no way either could have confused the two.

"After five years of saving and doing research, we decided to replace our carpeting with laminate flooring by Armstrong. It was expensive but came with a warranty, and we fell in love with it. We shopped all over Orlando for 1,000 square feet in our price range and chose DLB Flooring owned by Danny Batterbee. The day he delivered our flooring it was in boxes labeled Sonitex, which we found is an inexpensive laminate made in China. Danny assured us he ordered the flooring from Armstrong directly. We contacted Armstrong and they told us their flooring always comes in Armstrong boxes with their name labeled on the back of each board. Our receipt from DLB states that we purchased Armstrong flooring, and Danny still claims that's what he sold us. Now we're stuck with 1,000 square feet of flooring without a warranty."

DANIELLE & ALEX EXPOSITO of ORLANDO

Dear Danielle & Alex: Danny Batterbee was floored when I reached him, saying this was the first he heard there was a problem. "I will call everyone I need to in order to make this right," he promised. That was Nov. 5. Since then he has continued to work with Armstrong to get you what you paid for. "I'm waiting on them for the next step," Danny told me last week. "But the Expositos won't have to do anything or pay out of pocket." The next shipment Batterbee right.

Dear Greg: It's been more than two months since Danny Batterbee promised in your column to deliver 1,000 square feet of Armstrong flooring that we bought from his company, DLB Flooring. Never in my life have I had such a bad experience with a purchase. This fiasco seems to go on and on with no end in sight. We have been more than flexible and patient with Danny agreeing to wait for the flooring, then when Danny said he couldn't get it, agreeing to a refund of $2,500 (about half what we paid). Now he wants us to wait until he gets money back on his taxes. We feel this is yet another stall tactic. Frankly, I have had it and want to put an end to this.

DANIELLE EXPOSITO

ORLANDO

Dear Danielle: Ditto. Actually, I have to put an end to this. I've given Danny Batterbee so much slack, I'm out of rope. In his umpteenth promissory e-mail to me since November, Batterbee wrote: "I don't have the extra $2,500 right at this moment, but I can do a little. I do want to take care of them very fast. I will get some tax money in very soon. I will get back to you soon. Please don't write another article." Sorry, Danny my rope is gone, and the Expositos are tired of being strung along.

Your help in stopping this Craigslist crook will be appreciated. You can do this by not helping him. Stop selling him your products. You really should want to separate yourself from him.

I agree with all of these postings. This guy is dishonset and should be arrested.  Here is what I wrote to my credit card company

when dealing with a refund Danny Batterbee told me he would give me:

On Friday, May 15th, 2009, I bought 1498.72 square feet of Park Avenue 12mm
laminate flooring, underlayment and coordinating trim from DLB Flooring located
at 3118 Corrine Drive Orlando, FL 32802.  I paid $5342.11 with my At &
t Universal Mastercard.  After this purchase I decided to upgrade the
underlayment for the flooring.  On Monday, May 18th, 2009 I authorized
another charge of $628.25 for the upgrade.  When I received the flooring,
underlayment and trim I realized that some of the trim pieces were
incorrect.  The owner of DLB Flooring, Danny Betterbee, told me that he
was going to correct the order.  I waited and eventually decided to return
the trim pieces to him.  On Thursday, June 18th, 2009 I returned the trim
pieces to DLB Flooring for a refund of $175.00 which posted two days later on
June 20th, 2009.  On this same day I mentioned to Danny Betterbee that I
had 7 extra unopened boxes of flooring left over after installation.  He
told me that I

could return the 7 boxes to DLB Flooring for a full refund of
$356.93.  I returned the 7 boxes of flooring to DLB Flooring on Monday,
June 22nd, 2009.  Danny Betterbee gave me a handwritten credit slip for
$356.93 and told me that Armstrong would mail me a check for the refund.
After waiting for at least 1-2 months
I called Armstrong to see where my refund
check was.  They informed me that they do not mail refunds to
customers.
When I contacted Danny Betterbee he changed his story and told
me that his distributor was supposed to mail me the refund check.  He told
me he was going to contact his distributor and call me back.  He did not
call me back.
I had to repeatedly call him and leave several voice mails
before I was able to get a hold of him.  Since then he has consistently
given me the runaround.  At one point he even told me that he was not able
to make contact with his distributor because he (the distributor) has been out
of work due to cancer.

I attempted to call Danny Betterbee at DLB Flooring in excess of 20-30
times in an attempt to resolve this issue.  I left him a voice mail every
time he did not answer my call.  He has answered approximately 5 of my phone calls.

Eventually I started to feel as though Danny Betterbee was purposely not
answering my phone calls whenever he would see my phone number on his caller
ID.  Therefore, On Monday, October 5th, 2009 I called him from a different
phone number which he would not recognize, He answered the first call I made
from the different number.  He told me that He did not know I was trying
to call him and that he did not receive any of the multiple voice mails I left
for him.  I asked him if he could just credit the $356.93 back to my At
&t Universal Mastercard.  He agreed and even confirmed the credit card
number that the refund was to be credited to.  I waited approximately 5
days and contacted At & t Universal.  I was advised that there was no
credit/refund posted to my account from DLB Flooring.

On October 12th, 2009 my wife and I went to DLB Flooring in an attempt to
confront Danny Betterbee about the refund I am owed.  He gave us several
different excuses and lies.  He told me that after speaking with me on
October 5th, 2009 he contacted his distributor and gave him my credit card
number over the phone.  He stated that the distributor was then supposed
to issue the credit to my account.  That is totally different from what he
told me over the phone on October 5th, 2009.  It was obvious that Danny
Betterbee did not and never intended to give me my refund.
  After several
minutes of arguing, Danny Betterbee swiped my At & t Universal Credit Card
at 1:35 pm and handed me a printed credit for a refund of $353.00.  I
informed him that the refund was supposed to be for $356.93 not $353.00.
He then pulled a $5.00 bill out of his wallet and handed it to me with an
irritated look on his face.  As of this date (October 19th, 2009) the
$353.00 credit has not posted to my account.  I am worried that, based on Danny
Betterbees past behavior, he cancelled the $353.00 refund transaction as soon
as I walked out of his business.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and several other consumer organizations.
Someone needs to get the word out on this guy and put a stop to him.

This is another bait and switch using your materials as the bait. Notice how he lied about his credit card machine so the duped customers would not be able to do a charge back like Christian above did.

Do not do business with this guy! He truly is a hack. We had been shopping around for Armstrong floors and slick DLB came up with an out of this world price. We supposedly only had a week to take advantage of this great offer from Armstrong. He showed us supposed dealer prices from other vendors and explained how everyone was ripping customers off. We had to write a check, since his Credit Card machine was conveniently out of service (Suntrust somehow could never get anyone to come out and look at it). He sold us fake Armstrong floors and lied to my face three different times when I asked him if they truly were Armstrong brand (they came in unmarked boxes). Now we're stuck with $5k worth of junk, with no chargeback rights from Visa. It doesn't make sense to get an attorney at this point since it wouldn't be cost-efficient. He is a dirty SOB and will get what's coming to him. Stay away from DLB Flooring and Danny Batterbee.

For more stories like these or if you would just like to learn more about the man you have representing your company its materials and you click the links below. The first bait and switch story I posted was out of the news paper the Orlando Sentinel. I guess they said bad advertisement is good, but is this the kind you want?
