I had 3 separate instances of needing to go to Urgency Care. I presented my Abrazo / Arrowhead Insurance Card to the Receptionist. We pay for the Platinium Healthcare Plan. Treatment was obtained but Abrazo / Arrowhead Insurance was denied.

I have Kaiser Insurance but they do not have Clinics in AZ. Thus, I used the Urgency Care facility that is affilitated with Abrazo / Arrowhead Insurance . I complained to the AZ elf Insurance Commissioner & I received a Phone Call, nothing in writing from the State of AZ , stating that since Abrazo / Arrowhead Hospital is Self Insured ,the State of AZ nor I had any Recourse!

I had to pay for the Urgency Care Visits out of pocket & we still pay ~ $750/ month for Employer Insurance.
