Art Adams Law Offices got paid for my settlement and left me with all my unpaid medical bills ripoff Tulsa Oklahoma

A few years back I hired an attorneys office to help me w/ a work related injury. Back on Oct of 2004 my attorney suggested at this point that it would be best to do a settlement because I would be required to fly back to Oklahoma.

I asked him If I do a settlement will the insurance company pay for all my medical bills? The reason I asked this was because I had been informing my attorney of unpaid bills a year prior to talking about a settlement and they just kept assuring me that they are working on it and the bills will be paid. So I know I sit in this situation where the insurance didnt pay for any of the bills, and I am getting threatened of law suits by the medical providers.

When I called my attorneys office his employee Tina said to me did you get your settlement? Yes I got $8000.00 for almost 4 years of unpaid wages which is nothing. She said to me well then Art did his job and hung up on me.
In my opinion I would not go back to Art Adams office if i needed legal help to wipe my dogs rear.

I have advised them of how I was fired when I reported my injury which by law is under the the wrongful termination act. It states that if an employer retaliates against their employee for excerising their rights under Oklahoma's Workers' Compensation laws by firing them that it's unlawful. When I told the attorney of that fact he said how long did you work their? I told him and he said that doesnt apply. But when we went to court the oppossing attorney brought it up. Because my old supervisor had lied. And if that wasnt enough we had a witness attest to that but my attorney did nothing. In fact the second opposing attorney jumped to my defense when my attorney lacked to do so.

Bottom line: When or if you are injured be sure to not have Art Adams defending you. This is your life and to them if they get paid they are done with it.
Art Adams office tells me that they will help me but when the collectors calls they tell me that they will not help they say the same thing that Tina one of Arts asstnt say's.

WATCH YOURSELF WITH THIS FIRM, THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR LIFE!!!

They are not aggressive when they need to be aggressive.

GET INFORMED YOURSELF...KNOW THE LAW IT WAS PLACED THEIR TO HELP. THAT WAY WHEN YOU ARE ADVISED BY COUSEL ONE WAY YOU WILL KNOW TO MOVE ON TO AN ATTORNEY MORE INFORMED.
I DID NOTHING WRONG I WAS INJURED ON THE JOB REPORTED MY INJURED WAS REQUIRED TO FINISH OFF THE WEEK PRIOR TO GOING TO THE DOCTOR. WHEN I CALLED MY EMPLOYER AND ADVISED THEM THAT I WAS INJURED ON THE JOB THEY IN TURN TERMINATED ME.

I DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE A BIG DEAL OUT OF IT I THOUGHT I WILL GO THE DOCTOR AND IT WILL GET BETTER, I WAS GOING TO SEE ABOUT GETTIN UNEMPLOYEMENT BENIFITS AND LOOK FOR ANOTHER JOB AND USE MY OWN MEDICAL INSURANCE TO PAY. THE SUPERVISOR LIED AND TOLD THE UNEMPLOYEMENT OFFICE THAT I DIDNT SHOW UP FOR WORK FOR TWO DAYS AND TERMINATED. WHICH I HAD AN OLD CO-WORKER ATTEST THAT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AND SHE EVEN SAID THAT MY OTHER CO-WORKERS KNOEW ABOUT IT AND THAT MY SUPERVISOR CALLED HER IN THE OFFICE AND REPORTED TO HER OF MY INJURY AND TO KEEP AN EYE OUT.

IF I HAD KNOW THE LAW BETTER I WOULDNT BE IN THIS SITUATION BUT INSTEAD LIKE MOST PEOPLE TRUSTED AN ATTORNEY.

THE ATTORNEYS OFFICE WILL KNOW WHO I AM IF THEY READ THIS AND THATS FINE W/ ME. I WILL NOT STOP!!! WILL WRITE THE GOVENOR, THE SENETOR AND THE JUDGE. I AM ALSO FILING A CLAIM W/ THE OKLAHOMA BAR ASSOCATION.
