Art Institute of Pittsburgh Fraudulent services, charged and then reported to credit checks!! Internet
*General Comment: You are not a special snowflake
I signed up to take photography classes towards a degree and was dropped into a class which had already started. Learning the online interface was impossibly complicated, tried to catch up, was given a failing grade and contacted the school to drop out after one week realizing that they were not really a school but a hoax.
They told me I owed them the money ($865)which I disputed. They have now reported me to the credit bureaus for non payment. My credit score suffered and they never fulfilled their promise to me. What do I do now? I am 59 years old and was taken advantage of.

Come on people, stop feeling so entitled and take some personal responsibility. Did you really think you could be successful in an online class if you are 59 years old and have no real computer experience to speak of? You don't see me out there trying to be the next Steven Spielberg because I have zero training and/or experience in anything related to directing.
A photography "degree" is serious business, not a weekend hobby. If you wanted to learn how to take better picture of the family dog, there's plenty of self help material freely available. Conversely, if you thought this could be a serious career change, you should be thanking the school for spitting you out early and not just passing you on. I'm so sick of the lack of responsibility and the air of entitlement that surrounds people today.
You made a mistake by thinking you're better at computers/photography/dedication than you actually are. Stop whining about it online and man up, pay your bills, and move on.
