I am an artist from Europe, and I am one of the group who are victims of the art scam by ART PLATFORM NYC.
I signed a contract for one year in January (contact person - Juliette Townsend).
The contract includes - publicity on their website, participation in international Art fairs in Miami and NYC and publication in a high-resolution art book, several copies of which the artist gets to keep.
First of all they debited about 100 $ more from my credit card than was written in the contract. After that, they used my credit card another 4 times!!
And I am no longer on the website of Art Platform NYC. I was removed without warning.
The statements from Juliette Townsend are promises and excuses....but the refund promised never happend. Neither did anything else.
With this information, I hope I can help other artists who are thinking to work with Art Platform NYC....it is a CREDIT CARD FRAUD an LIES. !!!
