ASAP Travel sends a fax offering "once in a lifetime" deals on travel packages. They gain your confidence in booking a trip via a voucher. Instead of accepting credit cards they ask for bank information so they can pay the vendor quickly.

Using your bank info they then begin draining your bank account.

Once confronted they become nasty and use super foul language.

Buyer Beware!

I too was scammed by this company.  They change their name and number every few weeks... they even try to say the company was bought or closed down.  Same scam every time with the same people running from the law.  Report them to your banks and police ASAP.

received a fax at my workplace from World Wide Travel. I spoke to Tristen and his Manager about booking a trip to Cancun Mexico that was on the flyer that was sent to my workplace. They said I would be charged a 'booking fee' for my trip. Once the fee was collected they would sent out by certified mail a 'Travel Voucher'. I could then call a 'booking agent' to book my trip. This ended up being a complete SCAM. The manager James (888-526-0004 888-526-0004 ext 212 and 551) said he had some back doors where he could book my trip within a 60 day timeframe. When I called the number after I had received their package he nor Tristen could be reached and they said they have left the company and no one can help. The package was just a few, out of focus, prints that didn't explain anything... was just a general brochure. I had paid them $340 for a booking fee for 2 people and I wanted my money back but can't be refunded. I just called the customer service number and they said it was just changed from 888-400-3957 888-400-3957  to 888-691-5515 888-691-5515 ... just the run around. The company seems to have two locations in Englewood, CO and this one in Houston, TX. The manager I spoke to earlier in the day was very rude, said they would sue me for slander and hung up the phone. All I wanted was a vacation to Cancun that I was promised with the flight included at an All Inclusive Resort (Palace Resorts). The company said I will have to book the trip within 60 days of travel, but when I received the official information it said 90 days and I had to pay additional funds to the next person at Astro Travel aka the Travel Center 800-861-7313   800-861-7313. I called the customer service and other company numbers to no avail and no one would help... just the run around. Since I haven't gotten anything I want my money back and I want to warn others of this Fraudulent business. The manager that threatened me was Ed Roberts who said he was in Englewood, CO... but all the information I pulled up was out of Houston. The package I received certified was also from the address at 3346 TC Jester #H-4 Houston, TX 77018... there is no such business at this address.

UPDATE:  The company has been sold, or the scam seems to deepen, to TCI or Travel Consultants International in Englewood, CO.  Website:  www.trip-professionals.com 888-722-8860 888-722-8860  .  After calling the real estate management office at the address posted online at: 400 Inverness Parkway Englewood, CO 80112 there is not such tenant under this name or any other travel company at this address (SCAM).  The website is a replica of the last one www.newworldwideservies.com .  The person I spoke to this time name was Leslie Warner who said she's worked at the company for 20 years and taken all sorts of trips with the company.  This is the exact same scam as last time.  They take your money over the phone saying that you are paying a 'Travel Voucher' then you will receive a package in the mail.  Then you 'activate' your voucher and call a booking agent all while paying an additional fee.  This is the same scam as before.  They get you by sending a fax to your workplace

Things to do: Report this immediately if this happens to you. Call your bank and report Fraud on your account.  Report to your Attorney Generals office or website, report to your local Better Business Bureau, report Mail Fraud as none of these locations are legit, this is interstate fraud too so contact your Chief of Commerce.
