I've bought my house and used ASC (American Servicing Company) as my morgage company cause my credit wasn't too good. A month later Wells Fargo bought it.

After the first year of insurance was up I had to have a insurance agent come inside of the home to re order my insurance but at the time I had a BAD leak in my basement and decided to fix it first within that month ASC contacted me saying my insurance expired.

I got a letter in the mail saying they ordered my insurance for me through a escrow account and I had to pay $1,700 for it and I was now deliquent in my account. It said I had to pay that or I can go through their payment plans each week with my morgage price upped by $50 and additional payment each month of $150 I knew I couldnt afford that expecially when insurance on my house through a different company only costs me $30 a month.

A days later I got a letter in the mail from the insurance company that they ordered from me saying that I had to pay them $900 and none was paid on my account.
(so why did the insurance company make a escrow account for me when none was paid on it?) The insurance they ordered for me only protected the house didnt protect contents inside of the home.

I told asc id make my regular monthly payments and I ordered my own insurance. I then recieved a letter saying If I didnt pay $1,300 by oct 28th then they would foreclose.

I got the letter oct 24th (post marked october 18)
Letter cover head says sept I dont understand how it took a month for them to put my letter inside of a envelope and send it out. I called them and on the phone they said I can pay $750.00 by the 28th (4 days away).

I wired them $750 on the 26th) then a few days later the SHERIFF was at my door serving me a summons to appear in court to answer within 30 days to circuit clerk for the forclosure of my home. I went up there and they said if ur not going to fight it then there is no point of filing for a appear in court for $75. So I didn't file.

I called mortgage company and now they say that its going to cost $2,500 by 15 days to stop the foreclosure.
They were not wanting to work with me. I got to thinking the other night with my husband and said I wonder why ASC sold our mortgage to Wells Fargo Option One and now we have to deal with ASC still?

I thought something fishy and searched on internet.
Now I find this site and know im not the only one out there and they are indeed a scam company.

Im not sure what I am going to do Im thinking hard about either filing for bankruptsy Id rather lose this house without oweing anything then to continue to pay this morgage company who has only applied $15 towards my interest for the 2 years I lived here. If anyone knows of any class action lawsuit against this company please email me at (email deleted - see below)
