Ashely Furniture Store I bought brand new BED BUG INFESTED bed set here. They are willing to do NOTHING about it! They are not even empathetic that they caused me and my 5 year old daughter a BED BUG INFESTED HOUSE because Carbondale, Illinois

I bought from Ashley Furniture Store a platform bed and mattress, which turned out was BED BUG INFESTED! They are not willing to do anything about it! The store owner Dan Parrish refuses to speak to me, even one time. The manger/supervisor Todd tells me, " bed bugs do not come from mattress'." He tells me that they have never had this problem before and I am the first customer to complain about this ever. I looked up on line and found like 7 different reports from consumers' complaining about receiving Bed BUG INFESTED furniture from Ashley Furniture. I have been living in the same home now for 4 years and the only new thing that was brought into the home was this bed set that I purchased from Ashley Furniture. I have never been bitten by bed bugs before in my life! These are parasites that breed off human blood and they can come at first into your home in the egg stage. The eggs can live up to 10 months, without feeding. Todd told me," if you had gotten bed bugs from our mattress, then you would of been bitten right away." This is not true! But I did not have the bed and mattress set for too long before I started to get bitten. This issue had been going on for a while before I finally found and saw with my own eyes the Bed Bugs. So I was not so fast to accuse some-one of something until I knew for a fact. The first time I got bit, it did happen at night when I went to bed. So I kind of knew from the start, but was not so sure that they were not mosquito bites because they do also itch like crazy. I looked up bed bug bites photos on the internet and it looked like the bites that I have.

Now I am out of the 1,500.00 I spent on the bed set, my 5 year old daughter is out of her own bed, I am going to have to spend money for pesticide at least for them to make 3 to 6 treatments. Dan Parrish does not even care enough to go and investigate their warehouse, get to the bottom of the accusation, and possibly spray for bed bugs within his warehouse also. Todd told me," you only spent like 400.00 for the mattress." Like my money meant nothing to them! As if this is related to the issue at hand! I called the corporate office and they told me that this is Dan Parrish problem not their problem because this is a privately owned store. My advice is not to buy any furniture from Ashley furniture in Carbondale,IL. because anything, not just the mattress can be bed bug infested. Just saying,"only the mattress can be infested." This is a myth!
