Ashford University Ashford Univeristy is keeping me from attending another college!!! Cottondale, Florida

I decided to withdraw from Ashford University and go to my local college.  When I called them to see why the other school had not recieved the transcripts I was informed that I had a balance of 2800.00.  I am a pell grant and student loan student.  When I withdrew there was more than enough money to cover anything I had owed.  They informed me that they sent all the money back and that I was responsible for the remaining amount.  Now I am being hindered from contiuing my education because of those transcripts not being in. While I was attending Ashford I never was able to get a hold of a person just voicemail and never return my calls.  I think this so called university is scamming people and it needs to be known.
