Ashland County Department of Child Services - ODJFS - OCSEA - ODCFS child abuse, Neglect, Children Services, Ashland, Ohio, Bad Caseworkers, Bad Investigators Crooked system, Police, Scandals, Accusations Ashland Ohio

In the begining of October at 8:30 a.m. I recieved a phone call from my ex- Husband to Come pick up my girls from his home as they were being Unruley, I did so between 9:30 and 10 a.m. The situation was tha the night before my 15 year old bit him in the back of the neck and he had a reaction tossing his head back, then used his arm to push her off of him, The Ashland police Department responded to a call made by my 16 year old Daughter about the situation, however took no action because father and Daughter both admitted that the physical contact was Just a reaction of someone who is bitten and that dad ment no real harm. However whe I went to pick them up, they were mouthy and did not want to reason with me and discuss the situation, therefore I thought I would use the "Help" of the Ashland police Department. I called them at 11:00 a.m. and within 2 of being at my location they had talked to me the parent, a total of 5 minutes, They questioned the girls about what happend and then went to their vehicles and proceeded to make phone calls whic later I ound out was to children services, First I must add That I have  shared parenting with Father therefore he did nothing wrong when he called me to come get him, however the "Officer/Supervisor" on duty told him "I could arrest your a*s for this" now mind you in the police report he states that he told Father what he did was borderline criminal, of course not true, they aslo state in the police report that they found no suitable  familt members to take the children at that time, However I told them there were many faily members available. I alsotold them that I had 500.00 on me and that I could take the girls elsewhere until other arrangements were made since the location i was at was aproblem for them because the man that resides there has a felony from 1979 which mind you had nothing to do with children nor the saftey of children. for anyone reading this i just want you to know that as of today my children still have not ben returned home to me nor their father and it has been almost one month, they are 15 and 16 years old, this one incident has happend in that many years and they have gone to extremes to make this difficult, there have never been any other reports to children services nor the police department an I believe 100% that the rights of both father and I have been Violated. My children should have been left in my care as I informed the police department on several occasions that there were other options for the children and they ignored me completly, the children were supposedly removed from a dangerous situation however their brother was not removed, if it was in fact such a dangerous situation they would have removed all of the children not just two.

There is much more to this story I would just like to wait until this is all over before I share all.

For anyone reading this I want you to know your right, if children services shows up at your door, tell them go away, you are not taking my children anyhwere. I wish I had known this at the time it happend to me, you have this right..Use IT.

Ashland children services and it's caseworkers are not good they are not your friends even though they will pretend to be, dealing with them on another case I have had to complain to the courts more thatn 3 times about one of the caseworkers and she still isn't doing her "job". It is about time someone does something about ashland county it's children services and it's police depatrments, and If it has to be me alone I will make as many phone calls and do everything I can to get these matters resolved with anyone I can, I ask though if you are having troubles with these offices please make the calls to get something done, let your voice be heard for yo and your children.
