She said she wanted to close the deal through eBays Buyer Protection Program in order for me to be "100% Protected". And that I would have 5 days Inspection period before buying the Vehicle. And that it will be shipped by DAS Auto Transport all the way to my house. And she asked for my information name address and phone, and she said that she will Notify eBay that I was the Selected Buyer and that they will explian the entire Process. She said that I will receive the invoice from eBay soon, to follow the instructions and the car would be mine. This is the web site of the pictures http:/www.use.com/CgJk5 She said that she was alreday contacted by eBay that I had already received the invoice and to call the customer support number provided in the invoice in order to confirm the transaction numer provided 1(888)705-1233

When I called it the first time a man named Jorge answered, I couldn't find the Invoice so I letted her know and she said If you don't know how the process work can call eBays Assisted Purchase Deparment. So when I found the invoice I made a payment to Money Gram, And she replayed saying I just got a notice from eBay telling me that the transaction has been approved and the payment has been received. She also said that she was sure That I'll love the car and she hoped I would take good care of it. So when I made the Payment to the number provided that Jorge guy said that I would be reciving a Email saying that I would be please notebthat we have received the payment conformation. And that I would be receiving the car 07/01/2015 at 10:00 am, and that the Shipping Department would call me 24 hours before the arrival.

That was the last Thing I heard ffrom them I send a email to Ashley when I haven't received a call from them, and didn't answer I also send a Email where I was send the conformation delivery and haven't gotten a response back. So I called the number Proveded and a Women answered I was telling her that I had talked to Jorge "because he had put an Ext # that for my calls would go directed to him" and all of the sudden They hanged up I tired calling back and it rings and says they person you are trying to reach is currently busy. Used my moms phone to call the numer provided so someone else could answer and it only rings and says the person you are trying to reach is unavaliable please leave a message. Is this a SPAM?

I did not send money

AUTHOR: Fearless - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 07, 2015

This is really a response to a report that was already filed on Ashley Sinkler. I too saw the car, on craigslist, and emailed them about it.  This was the response that I received:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me about my 2008 Nissan Maxima SL,Automatic. It has 90,526 miles,VIN: 1N4BA41E78C827775 .The car has no scratches or any kind of damage. It is in EXCELLENT condition; the body and paint are great, no scratches and no dents; the interior is clean; it has never been involved in an accident; the title is clear.
I am located in Omaha, NE.I'm an Air Force Staff Sergeant..The price that I hope to obtain is $2,200.I am selling the car because I will be sent back to Afghanistan and I have no use for it anymore. The price is low because I need to sell it before July 02th.
I know that my current situation is pretty special I want the deal closed only through eBay's Buyer Protection Program in order for you to be 100% protected. You will have the chance to inspect the car before I will be paid!Which means that you will have a 5 days inspection period before buying the vehicle. This price includes all the shipping taxes and fees. If you will take it for this price, I am willing to handle the shipping. It will be shipped by DAS Auto Transport Services to deliver the car to your door. You will receive the car in about 3 days.

If you want to complete the purchase please send me your; Full Name and Shipping Address and phone number and I will notify eBay that you are selected as my buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

I will send all photos in the  next email.

My best wishes and I'm waiting your response so we can move forward with this deal.
Thank you and have a nice day,

Sgt. Ashley Sinkler
Offutt Air Force Base (OFF)

Being that my husband is in the military and we have been through many moves and multiple deployments something just did not sit right. So I did a little more investigating and found that Ashley Sinkler was not in global. That is when I was just about positive that this was a scam.  I emailed back and asked had the car been sold yet and I received this email:

Hi again,

Please give me a little time to explain you the process of this transaction.I had prearranged the deal with eBay so my presence isn't necessary. The car is located in Omaha, NE ready to be delivered. The car will arrive at your address in 2-3 working days.It will come with all the necessary paperwork (clear title, bill of sale, user's manual etc). You will receive all the original documents. I signed all the paperwork and the clear title is ready to be transferred to the new owner. You will have 5 days to test it and inspect the car. eBay department will hold and insure your money throughout the inspection. If by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense and eBay will send you a full refund.
I'm sure it won't be the case because the vehicle is in excellent condition.
If you intend to move ahead and conclude this transaction, please email me back with the following information: your full name, shipping address and your phone number. eBay will notify you all the details about the shipping and payment (terms, buyer protection coverage, payment instructions)

Thanks, hope to do business with you soon!

After seeing the other complaint was dated prior to me receiving this follow up email lets me know without a shadow of a doubt that this is a scam. Thankfully for me the only thing that I lost out on is a few minutes of my time. Unfortunately, someone else did fall victim to this scam. I just hope that this report/comment helps someone else.

There is NO car....You got scammed..

AUTHOR: Amazed - (Easley)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 01, 2015

There is NO car. You got scammed. The ad was fake. There is no car or should I say, they stole someone's ad from a car selling site. As soon as you paid the scammers, they stopped talking to you. They are criminals. They have no problem with cheating you. They are cheating and scamming others as you read this.

You should NEVER send money to someone you don't personally know. The method you paid them is not traceable. Money Gram money is gone! How much did you send them? My understanding is that there is no Ebay Buyer Protection Program outside of ebay. This is a ruse to get you to think it's safe to deal with this person.

I bet the price was very low, huh? Too good to pass up? That's what scammers do. Make the price extremely low. There is no car for you.

Why didn't you just go to a car lot and buy a car? Now you are out that money and the scammers keeping scamming other people.

Did you get an email supposedly from ebay or paypal about the transaction? That was FAKE too. The criminals, scammers wrote that email so you would think ebay or paypal was involved, they were NOT involved in this. That was a fake concoctred email sent to you by the scammers.
