ashworth college the rip off Norcross, Georgia

My boyfriend, brandyn who asked me to get this figured out for him and squared away because he has about lost his mind with this joke and not exactly the computer literate. So we were online looking for online schools that do GED's and of course who do we come across? first college , ashworth, says get your HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA and we both say heyy there we go just what you need! and here it has been since 8/2 since they got ahold of him and said your books will be there within a week. it is today 8/9 after dark. seeing how we live in 2 different states for the time being they had to of course call him and i couldnt listen in on the convo to help him out ( i have been through online college myself with university of phoenix). he calls me not even a half hour later saying i start in a week? confusingly excited and suprised i was like did they even ask for your social? n he said no, they just want my high school transcript i was like hmm...no student advisor. its been a week now. they have 30$ of his. and with me busy working overtime i havent had the chance to look into this college, till just tonight and i am absolutly UPSET because when i talked to them on the phone i asked them straight up are you guys a scam and he said no maam we are accredidted university and i said ok cause this was the only site that we looked into and you guys called so many times...since brandyn has been enrolled they have not called him once to walk him through the website, he has no idea what hes doing over the weekend i tried to help him out since i have done it..and even i was having problems not because its different but its because its like some sort of mental person set up the layout and on the other hand theres no class room discussions....um we dont know what to do because its past the 5 days as of today to cancel ( i looked that up in their page to see if we could get them) but it didnt say anything as far as i know about there being a cancelation fee of 200$, i read online someone has been through that...IF they do that do we have to pay them or are they just going to have to go down for hustling young kids trying to get their lives back on track? any help would be good. as long as its legit. thank you!
