I was just reading Jeff Weller's complaint and John Henry's answer to Jeff's complaint.

I had a similar problem. I bought 8008a and customer service assured me they would work with Windows Vista. They do not record the conversations and, of course, there is no proof of this. Now I am stuck with this merchandise since my customer's computer runs Windows Vista.

I found John Henry's answer pathetic and it just shows you what kind of company AsianWolf is. He claims that everything is "well documented" by his staff. What kind of documentation is he talking about? Is he talking about the testimony of the cashier, who has no knowledge...or simply does not care? What kind of documentation is this?

His comparison with Home Depot is also pathetic. At least Home Depot will stand by its customers and return the money if the customer is not totally satisfied ....no questions asked! That's why I will continue to shop at Home Depot but will never consider buying anything from AsianWolf again. I am in the Security Business and I spend thousands of dollars every year in CCTV equipment. I will take my business elsewhere.

While I can understand the companies standpoint of having a tough customer to deal with every now and again, It concerns me they didn't offer any sort of refund. I was thinking of purchasing from this company until reading this consumer report.

I do feel the customer is wrong in this situation, Even if the item didn't post Vista requirements I would always do my own independent research to make sure it would work with my hardware. This being said, This is not grounds to deny a refund. I now know if I purchased from this vendor, once the funds leave my account there is no way of getting them back if am issue appears. Buyer beware! This is a common trend with online vendors and that is why you have to check the rip off report!

In Reply to this person Statement, Our LE-8008A DVR card sold on eBay does not work on Vista and it is Clearly stated in our eBay Item Page and website. (as proof, I have provided a link to our website that states the specifications and that it will not work on Windows Vista http://www.asianwolf.com/cctv-dvr-le8008a.html). We put that information clearly on our sites so people do not have any confusion with our products, but then again there are those type of people that do not like to read and just skip everything without reading and later on call to ask how come no one told me it does this or doesn't do that when we Clearly state what our products are and are not capable of We put this information on your site so there should be no assumptions with compatibility since we state exactly what it is compatible with.

Our Company does Document each transaction and logs in all reports, Our staff is well trained with knowledge of all our products so it is a fact that none of our sales team would ever say that our LE-8008A does work with windows Vista because it does not and all of our sales rep know this.

Our Company services hundreds of thousands of customers on a regular basis and they are always satisfied, of course there is always an unreasonable customer every few months just like any other company which you cannot make happy since those are usually the customers that tend to be stubborn and do not want to read what is stated or do not read the Return Policy or strictly do not care and think they can make their own policies with any company.

At Asianwolf.com we stand behind all our products and stand behind our Company Policy so everything can run smoothly and fraudulent free which it does, but of course like I said before, like every other company there are those unreasonable customers once in a blue moon that no matter how nice you are and no matter how much you try to help them they do not care and complain. It is unfortunate that as a Company, we come across individuals from time to time that defy all reason and fairness and in retaliation write less than half the facts on a website like this.
