Like many others, Aspire Visa has rip off me as well. I closed the account, and yet they say I will continue to receive late fees and over limit fees. My account had a limit of $200 and now they have charged me over $1500. I am will to start a lawsuit, anyone know how to get a list started on this site?

I have had an Aspire gold card for just over 2 years now, and never have had any problems with them! I pay online, always more than the minimum, and they report to all 3 major credit bureaus. I sent in 2 400.00 payments about 6 months apart, and they raised my limit by 400.00 each time! Must just be lucky, because I've read all the reports on here about them, but I've never had a problem!

I thank you for your comment, but I am not hiding anything. You might want to checkout other post. I do have to say that you have been lucky to have no incidents as of yet, but if you do, remember your own comments.
Cheers

I read your response, and have to wonder if you're hiding something. I unfortunately had to re-build my credit and obtained an Aspire card in August of 2004. Aside from their high interest and annual and monthly fees, I have not had one problem with them. They have raised my limit a number of times, but I have never been late, and have always paid using my bank's online system. It has worked like a charm so far. My account is credited the smae day funds are received.
It sounds to me that your balance is a lot higher due to late and overlimit fees, which begs the question, how is Aspire card ripping you off? You're late, and over the limit...it's not their fault.
