Asset Recovery Association Threats Illinois

I lost my business decades ago. I have a credit card debt from 25 years ago they are trying to collect, demanding $5500 in 30 days or else they will call HR at my workplaces to have my wages garnished, call the police to have me arrested, come to my home & demand immediate payment in full including $21,000 in interest & subpoena me to fight it in court. My attorney has told me that the statute of limitations in Washington state is 6 years & they cannot collect it. If they do decide to take me to court, the judge would throw it out.
