Associated Bank They were extremely wrong Eagan Minnesota

I had account with this bank and closed it within a couple of months in 2001.
They keep your personal information in their system they said to me for 10 years. Somebody with the same last name recently opened an account at Associated Bank and they go through all the last names and apparently what happened is because my personal information is still in their this lady is now using my social security number and is able to ruin my credit extremely bad. No sympothy from this bank they apologized and said they made a mistake but I now a victim of Idenity theft and out thousand of dollars and this lady still has account opened at this bank in my name using all my personal information and this will not close this account, which they spreading my entire life out there. and all they can say to me is we are sorry and we made a mistake. Stay away from this bank . After you close account they keep all your parson information on hand for 10 years and if someone comes in with smae last name as your they ramdomly select whose last name come up first and that person be linked into your past closed account and they will foolishly reopen your closed account. I am now ou thousands on my credit report of purchases from this who now has my drivers licences and social security number as well as my old account nuber, and all the bank can sy is sorry. I tried to get this account and I could not because I had to contact this other women who I do not know. I do not want my personal information and credit dragged through the mud, before I had great credit now it is bad credit. This bank owes me not any money but re-establish my good name, sorry is just not enough.
