Back in May of 2016 I signed up for the California Lifelne Telephone Support via AssuranceWireless /Virgin Mobile

as I have little or no Income and have many Physical problems including Heart issues and Could not afford to pay for a Cell Phone while I was outside of the Medical Clinic I frequent for My medical nedds there was a representitive from assurance

wireless who told me that I could get a free smart phone via the california lifeline support which I was i much need of since I had no access to a telephone and have had several life threatning medical conditions including a heart attack, I received

the forms from the state of california and qaulified then shortly after received my free Phone from Assurancence

it turned out to Be an Obsolete ZTE N817 ANdroid Phone which had many issues on of which was when I texted one contact

it in its own wisdom decided to include all the contacts in my Phone, after about a month the phone would do everything

but Dial until I performed a factory reset, I called Assurance and spent 2 hours on the Phone with them until the decided to

send me a  replacement Phone which I got with 2 weeks it too had problems but they were of a different vairety,

so Once Again I called and spend another 1 to 2 hours while they Troubleshooted only to find that this phone had an issues as well,

I asked them if they have any othere Phones that would work on their Network  since the sevice is provided

by Virgin Mobil which I used ro have good luck with, They stated that there is One other phone that works on the network

I asked them if it was a good phone as I don't have money to be throwing out, they said that it is one of the Best phone on the Market but would not tell me which brand and Model that it was,  So I had no choice but to purchase one, I had to go without food and Medicine in order to pay for it which they Charged me $54.00 + Tax when I received it

it turnued out to be a Coolpad Avail which seems to be the biggiset pieces of junk on the Makrket, It was very hard at best to TExt with it as the on screen keyboard wasnot properly calibrated for the Screen so when you would type an f 9 times out of f then you would get a g which means you had to backspace and reenter the character and Hope for the Best, I had the Phone for just alittle over ten days then Once again I call Their Support which took over 2 hours, they FInaly decided

that there wsa something wrong with the Phone, and They Told me that I have had the Phone for 10 days and they will not Honor any kind of replacement , so Once again I was stuck with a piece of Junk that after reading about was considered

one of the worst phone ever made and the Attitude I got with assurance WIreless and VirginMobil made me not ever want to deal with them again, FInaly after calling about 6 or seven times I finaly found soomeone whoo would at least send me

a replacement for My old ZTE n817 Phone, I was without a phone for over 3 weeks and fortunatley when I had some heart problems someone else who shares a room in the house called 9-1-1 OTherewise I may have Died

to add insult to injury the Replacement which makes Number 3 lasted about 2 weeks before it started acticing

bizzare, I have had severeal cell phones in my life as I was an engineer and never had one fail on me yet, I only upgraded

I worked in the Datacom Busisness XIrcom,Inc We made Modems so I know the Datacom Business, Lifeline

Implies the 3-9 reliability which means that Phones must have a 99.9  percent Reliability. this Last Replacement

did somethng that one could never expect, whill on my phone call the PHone decided to perform a Factory

Reset wiping out all contact's and some crucial Text message which I need to show local a Notary as there was a possiblity

I was going to court to show that I was receiving some threating text messages.

My Bottom Line Do Not under any circumstance go with assurance wireless or virgin Mobil if you need life

line support, contact the California Lifeline at

They Also accecpt different carriers safelink which is tracphone as well as others

to this date I still dont have a Phone nor do they care, I am going to be in touch with the california public utilities

commission to see if there is anything I can do, as I felt that they put muy life in jeopardu
