Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Because the treatment we got from your reps was less than satisfactory, and the value for your service is at 0.  The cheaply made overpriced telephone, called Nexus 5 BlackD820 TMO from LG Electronics' glass shattered when my daughter tripped on a rise in the pavement at SRJC, even though it had the recommended protective cover on it, the only one ravailable from T-mobile's store.  We filed a claim for this damage and were first shocked that no your insurance does not fight for our rights and there is no value placed on what we've already wasted on this phone.  We were shocked that we must pay $150 (half the cost of the new phone), give you the phone in question, PLUS have to continue paying for the now damaged phone.  I consider THIS to be Highway Robbery, with your company and the cell phone companies presumably in collusion with one another to make the most profit on the phones, that were probably made on the backs of sweat shop laborers in China.  Then to top it off, because your company took so long (over two hours vs. the 1/2 hour the rep told us) to get the claim number / faxable document to send back to you into my email, and in that unexpected delay by your company it caused the phone to be lost by small children playing at my home while my daughter awaited your faulty service.  We searched to no avail. and tried to make a new claim for the phone being now lost.  To us it should make no difference as to whether the phone were lost or damaged, same deductible either way, but your company has a policy that would not allow this and caused one of your reps to say that the reason we could not change the type of claim filed was because I "had malicious intent" in her words.  Malicious intent, really?  Well, I'd say it's your company that maintains the malicious intent in the form of trying to get as much as you can from policy holders such as the broken phone to recap any losses you may have by selling or re-using it's parts.  Well, in the future, regardless of my problem with the phone, should I opt to have insurance ever again with your company I will know now to ALWAYS STATE THE PHONE WAS LOST no matter what because that clearly would have been in my best interest in this instance.  We were somehow extremely lucky to next day have found the phone thrown in some bushes by the kids.  Now I have faxed your faulty company twice with the initial claim form to phone number 866-450-4080.  I was told I would hear back from you via email within 24 hours and it has now been nearly 40 hours since my first fax.  You are a very bad company.  Now I have sat on hold with your company's phone number 866-866-6285 for over 30 min. while your robo operator continually apologizes that your having a high call volume, well no wonder, your company absolutely sucks.  I've had time to go to your website as suggested by robo operator and write all of this of which I will be copying to paste with the FCC and on YELP.  Finally some girl answered.  I am speaking with her about claim number 18666737, however I got this survey regarding claim number 18667760 and when I went online to your website It took me to yet another claim number which was 18668123.  THIS is very odd to me and ridiculously confusing.  The girl told me to ignore the other claims and only look at 18666737.  When I finally spoke to rep who told me our initial claim was still accepted, we could not get the phone next day because we were too late, i.e. missed the cutoff to request it so it would be coming in two days.  THIS is another faulty aspect of Assurant, they NEVER sent the confirmation email to me that they got my fax as they said they'd be sending, thus to me just an excuse to delay service further.

Continuing saga with Assurant Solutions

Well, we were supposed to have gotten the phone today, as we were told by the Rep (she had added, in trying to sooth our upset, " and the good new is, we will be giving you expedited shipping at no exra charges...!" Woo h*o!  Well, it did not show up and no one contacted us to let us know anything different.  Late this afternoon we went on line to see what the status was of which it said the status was un aproved as of yet.  WHAT?  I got on the phone to call them and again waited 30 minutes (!!!!!) before anyone answered. 

The guy who answered, Larson, found that it was not being sent yet because they did not have the phone in stock and they didn't know when it would be and that he assumed it would be in about 2 days from now.  All this mind you, and they have already charged us the $150 without shipping this product. The most comforting thing the Rep told me today is that they have LOTS of people upset with them, and that the company has a very high turnover of employees - (only comforting because I could see that I have good reason to be upset with them - everyone else is too!).
