Assured Towing, Inc., Metropolis Apartment Management Illegal towing auto theft texas organized crime Austin, Texas

On June 10th of 2008 I went to Louisiana for vacation, leaving my truck parked at my apartment complex, The Metropolis, located at 2200 S. Pleasant Valley Rd in Austin, Texas.

When I returned on the 20th, my truck was gone. So I called the apartment office and asked if they had towed it, to which they said they had not had any vehicles towed. So I called the Austin Police to report my truck stolen, and was told that it had been towed, ON THE 11TH (the day after I left!), by Assured Towing.

The towing company is now asking for $478 to release my truck, even though it was legally parked at MY apartment parking lot, and the apartment office claims to have not requested it, but still allows these illegal towings to take place.
