I just wanna say that this world never ceases to amaze me with legal rip-off artists like Asurion. Being middle-aged, financially solvent, near retirement and having seen years of injustice through 'legal' businesses, you would think sooner or later the states' Attorney Generals and the government would intervene and start actually doing their jobs by eliminating all the snakes in the grasses out there that love to suck good hardworking middle class Americans dry--but apparently not.  I might as well keep throwing money in the wind, or burning it, because every which way I turn someone continues to rape me of my hard-earned money by justifying non-payment or replacement based on their clever 'loopholes'.  I swear, they must all be lawyers juggling a second career! And Verizon is the facade behind all of this. Shame on you, Verizon. Despite being worth billions at least maintain some form of human decency by using accredited insurance companies with a credible history.

Asurion took over $100 in insurance payments from me on a cell phone, then when I went to make a claim for a replacement they denied it since the 'battery' was not staying in the phone properly for over two months. It didn't matter that the phone, an Envy 3, was junk to begin with, or that the battery was rubbing loose from the phone carriage over time, and simply expected me to 'lie' about when the problem began in order to offer replacement for a hefty deductible of $50. Gee, they sure have all their ducks in a row when it comes to 'loopholes'. I refused to 'lie' about the battery damage to obtain the replacement, and they denied replacement in return if I stuck to my guns about honesty. In the meantime I had practically bought a new one with the insurance payments for the past two years. I noticed that Asurion has an extensive complaint base on the internet, so obviously I'm not the only one that got the shaft. Not that that makes it any better.
