This review if for the any other locations - BEWARE!! BAD SERVICE FOR REFUND and UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES As by said by tgirl, I wish I had also read the reviews prior to enrolling my kids in this school. Due to a job relocation, aside to submitting a cancellation letter with my legit reasons of having to move, I had also followed up a phone call to Mrs. Blair/Spillmann on this situationof back in mid-May and the need to cancel my contract. Mrs. Blair/Spillmann informed me that my ACH transaction will be stopped by the time my December payment processed. This conversation lasted about 10 minutes. December comes and $220 was debited from my checking account. I made a phone call to Mrs. Blair/Spillmann to explain what had happened. Mrs. Blair/Spillmann said "I don't recall speaking with you, and since it has been a month and half ago, I don't remember your situation". To me, if this was true, then why was is that I never got a phone call asking why my kids have not attended for more than 6 weeks? She told me she would do some research and get back to me the same day. And she didn't. So I call the next day. Again, she told me she would get back to me the same days, and that she is having a hard time getting a hold of the billing department. Did not receive a phone back from her. So I tried again the next day. This time, Mrs. Blair/Spillmann told me that I would get my refund, and that she would find out if it is easier to do this by writing a check to me or actually do a reverse debit. She again said she would let me know the same day. After two days have passed, I called back and left a message that this matter needed to be taken care of once and for all. Mrs. Blair/Spillmann is now telling me that I have insuffient proof for my move. I have given her my new address, and proof of mail coming to my new address. To this day, she refuses to give my refund, and continues to be unprofessional about the matter. It is unfortunate that a business like this, who say they are about honesty and dignity, but yet disprectful and unfair. I agree with several bad reviews they have received from other people (and how ironic, all about money issues). In the beginning Mrs. Blair/Spillmann was a pleasure to speak with, and at following up to any questions you may have. But now when it comes to getting your money back, she acts like she doesn't know you. I will seek all resources there are available to ensure this does not happen again to other people.

We are sorry to read about your experience with contract issues at your academy location. As you are not a student at our location, please contact the academy you trained at; I am sure they will be happy to review all your paperwork and adjust your account.

As for your cancelation issues, everything is on the contract, and all academies offer a 5 day cooling off period.  Additionally, we do offer non-contracts and contract specials.  We go by the contract in order to be fair to all members.  On the contract it states in several places that you may cancel with a 30 day certified written notice; this prevents any confusion between the schools and the tuition office. As for your comments on specific individuals, all schools are independently owned and operated, and tuition issues are not handled at the academy or by Mrs. Spillmann. They are
handled by Greentree and Associates or (some academies) use other billing companies.  These billing companies simply follow the contract that a customer reads and signs.

We try our best to be fair, and all policies have always been written on the contract and posted online for all to read.  Anyone can cancel with a 30 day written notice and a cancelation fee. Tuition must be current as listed on the contract and any other past due fees must be paid.  If somebody moves, the tuition company puts the customers account on a 60 day hold to give time to receive the documents needed to cancel (new utility bill and new drivers license copy) for proof, and it is the customers responsibility to mail all documents within 60 days.  If the customer forgets, then the automated system starts billing again and the customer receives notice by mail. This is all explained on the paperwork and on the phone at the office. Sometimes some students just dont want to pay the cancelation fee or forget to send all documents to the correct office.

However, we are more than happy to try and help you if you are still having problems with your account. I really do understand your frustration and your troubles, but your personal attacks on Mrs. Spillmann are not warranted, as she does not handle billing, refunds or cancellations. If you still have a problem, call  the school location owner personally and they can investigate your paperwork and remedy any issues. As it stands currently, you still have the option to contact the correct school owner directly or the billing office. You can also call our academy and we can see if we can help you get this resolved.

We will also contact all location owners and continue to work on making our service better for all the students, as we always have.
