Purchased chaise lounge from ATG. Called week after week, same story "will be on truck soon" at Klausner. Finally, after 16+, I cancelled order. Then when I called back to make sure Visa refund processed, I was told "the merchandise was 'in route on truck" and order "could not be cancelled." Was told 2 different stories in matter of 2 hours. (I keep detailed notes, I am a therapist). The manufacturer is only 4 hours from my home, but was "in route" for weeks from that point each time I called, and was given another excuse as to why the order was not arrived. Told I did not want the order and I had cancelled.
CSR, Bashi, told me to write "refused" on the order when it arrived. I did for 2 reasons: 1. Had already cancelled order, and told how to cancel order when it arrived to get refund; 2. Order arrived "not as pictured in ATG website advertisement." Wrote Refused on Home Delivery Way Bill - Driver Called ATG Customer Service and the merchandise was returned to my knowledge.
Weeks went by and I was told stories about the merchandise "being on a truck in Indiana," etc. etc. I became suspicious and called manufacturer in NC for the truth as a relative works there. Returns Processor emailed me a copy of their policy with ATG stores: They never take returns from ATG, only drop ship for them. I was lied to from the beginning from ATG Customer Service.
To date, over a year, in trying to get my $500 back, I have not received any money back. I do not have the merchandise. I have requested over and over that a Manager call me with no resolution. I refuse to be stolen from as a customer in the Marketplace. I will not give this up and I will make this as public as possible with every angle - Clark Howard show, TV, etc. I am a single Mother and cannot afford to give away $500!
Do not purchase anything from them, ever! They lie, they steal, and their Customer Service Representatives are some of the most rude, foul-language, vulgar individuals I have ever encountered.
