ok fist off i have been thinking about going to this school for years because i never got it clear until i finally decided to go on with it . i met a guess u can say recruter by the name Mr. Milton he spoke nice to me and luerd me into the school by blending his background with mine saying hes jamaican so yea i went to the school to see him . upon this visit he told me that i will get ASE CERTIFICATION UPON COMPLETION at this point i was excited to get my life on track.

he then made me sign loan papers to start this new life thinkink that they will give ASE certification . so i started attending the school wasnt workin at the moment lost my job due to my license so i didnt have many way to make money. i told him that also and he told ME that i wont have to pay nothing until im done with school nothing went like that.  three about 2 months into it they start to call me to the student office or accouting corner and treating it like a how are you gooing to pay this bill when mr milton said diffrent and the people in the class were just to young and immature always making stupid jokes stoping the teacher from talking/ teaching that was not the learnig enviornment at all espescially for the main reason of what i went ther for wasnt even possible..... i am a mechanic and worked for dealership before if i knew thhat the same way i would do it at work is the same way i would have to do it at ATI .. meaning i would have to go and do it independantly

now they want me to pay $20,000 nothing this situation makes me want to change my entire roll in life as in how i would go about a new career

this guy Mr/ Milton  lied to  me about ASE

Me Too!

AUTHOR: FLwatch - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 02, 2012

I graduated from this school in 2007 and have YET to obtain a job in the automotive field. I am in the process of contacting lawyers to see if a class action lawsuit can be brought against this location like what is currently happening in Texas. It seems that ALL of these ATI locations use deceptive practices in order to lure students to their schools. I was given a post graduation employment rate of 90% and assured repetitively that they would assist me in not only obtaining a job but that i would get ASE certification as well.. LIES! Their "job placement assistance" consisted of pointing you to a cork board with MAYBE 5-10 job listings for over 100 students and they were all car detailing or part sales jobs. I couldve obtained these positions with out $20,000 in educational loan debit which is now DESTROYING my credit score. Anyone else that wants to see if we can form a class action against them, please reply to this. or email me at:
