I was contacted by an individual named Janette Cooper(the manager) of Atlantic One.I was informed that i was pre-qualified for a bank credit card in the amounts between $4,000 and $10,000(unsecured).I thought this would be a great chance to rebuild my credit, all she needed over the phone was a check for $319.00 and my card would arrive in 6 weeks.Well its been 6 months(to late to get my money back from the bank) and i call every 2 weeks(if i can get thru) and they keep informing me that the bank is still processing my card. They assure me every time that i have been approved by this bank, which they wont release the name of,and my card is on the way.I was stupid i know now,but they need to be stopped. They are ripping off people who dont have this money to begin with.Something needs to be done to shut them done.Another employee that has given my the same run around is C.J.,also a Sara with an ext. of 307( which doesnt exist either.)

They're Stealing People's Money... No Doubt about that!

AUTHOR: Spot - (U.S.A.)

I am ashamed to admit that I once worked for this company named "Atlantic One". I however, quit as soon as I found out that everything that they do i a scam.

First off, this company does not operate out of Milford, DE, but rather, they operate out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Also, this company actually operates under another name (which I'd rather not mention) in Canada.

Second, when the company does the recording with their victims, they do not mention a credit card anywhere on the recording. This means that if a victim where to dispute the charges, they would simply play back the recording & state that a credit card was never mentioned. They say on the recording that you will receive a "Signature Benefits Package", they never say you will get a credit card.

Third, the address which we used to provide to the victims was simply a forwarding address that is located in Milford DE, and the mail simply gets forwarded to their Toronto address.

Overall, I think something needs to be done to shut down this company. The amount of money being stolen is mind-boggling, and it is not fair to steal this money from anyone, especially people who are already through financial trouble.

What I suggest everyone does is report this company to the FTC, this can be done through their web site:

https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01

Also, report this company to any other organization possible, just remember though, they operate out of Toronto, Canada, NOT Milford, DE.

Thank you, and I hope I was able to help a few people. If I had known from the beginning that this company was a scam, I would have never worked for them, but now that I know, I want the scamming to stop.
