From the beginning, on 08-11-2013 at 11:40am I made a call to AT&T U-verse to see about changing to their service from my existing service that I currently have with Time Warner. I was on the phone talking to a guy by the name of Ryan, which at the time was very helpful and knowledgeable with their product. I had decided that I wanted to get their product installed at my residence. I was scheduled for an appointment on 8-20-2013, for my installation of 1 wireless box, 1 wired and to get over 379 channels and I would be saving over $60.00 with this rather than with Time Warner. I was excited about the new concept of picking up a box and having cable in any room of my choice!  When the installer showed up at my house on the 20th, I had wanted to confirm what I was  getting before he began the work, when I told him that I had 6 TV's that I wanted to have the capability of viewing he said that it wouldn't work, that the wireless wouldn't reach through the walls of my house out to my garage!  At that time, I ended the conversation and said No, for the installation and he left.  At that time, I still had Time Warner and not AT&T U-verse. I didn't authorize any work to be done or any of my information to them since I had decided not to get the bundle that Ryan and I had discussed on the 11th.

Recently, I received an email from AT&T-U-verse, it was a bill!  Yep, a bill for $276.00.  I called them and I was on the phone for over 69 minutes having to discuss what the hell was going on.  At no point in the conversation did they tell me that they went behind Time Warner's back and took my home number and tried to establish an account with them and then bill me!  I was furious!

I talked to Time Warner they told me that AT&T illegally goes behind companies and steals numbers and then bills customers of phony accounts.  When they did this to me, they wrecked my whole account with Time Warner, they exploded my account (bundle) and caused my account to soar!  I have been on the phone with Time Warner since and AT&T and I am still in the process of correcting my Time Warner account.

I did get a cancellation confirmation number from AT&T, in which that took hours of talking to people on the phone.  I do not think that any company should be able to go behind each other and steal phone numbers.  Time Warner and everyone else should really lock up their systems better to prevent that from happening.  Its not good business at all.
