For 3 Weeks I had poor phone line quality on the land line in my apartment, and difficulty accessing my Dial-up Internet service as a result. The problem was worst after rains. A Tech came last Thurs, did something "easy" and left without verifying that the problem was solved. My Apartment Complex manager is doing nothing about it. That is/was my only phone.
Yesterday, my dial tone was gone and now I have no internet access, and no phone service at all. The AT&T web site is prettty much useless and leads me in circles. Land line service is not a high priority it seems. It seems that AT&T assumes that everyone has a cell phone. I've got to call someone to get help, but that's the probelm, I have no working phone!
Somebody help me! This what I get after being a loyal customer for over 45 years!
