I worked two events for Attack! It has been more than 8 weeks since both events. I have yet to receive payment for either! All of my paperwork was submitted prior to working. According to Attack! my check was mailed out a couple weeks ago, and if I'd like them to send out a new one, I must pay $25 per check!!!!!

DO NOT WORK FOR ATTACK! MARKETING

XOXO

Communicate and You Will Get Paid

AUTHOR: J - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 17, 2009

I have personally worked for Attack Marketing on various jobs since 2006 and have always been paid as have all of the other models I've managed. There have been some instances when the checks have been late and after inquiring to the accounting department, I foudn out why. This is a large company and they get hundreds of faxes everyday which not only include paerwork like yours but also reports and timesheets for current jobs that are being worked around the nation.

At times, paperwork has been lost-including mine. I resubmitted it by scannign and emailing it to the person I spoke with and then called to make sure they had it. Once I did that, my check was cut.

Concerning your issue with paying $25 to have another check cut....I've had this experience as well. Once the company isues a check (and they can provide you with info to prove the check was issued), they send it to the post office. Once it is in the hands of the postal service, Attack's responsibility is gone. You and I both know that the postal service can loose items which is why you have two options: 1) wait for the check to arrive or for Attack to get it back and re-send it to you or 2) pay the average bank fee of $25 (all banks charge this to cancel a check) and have another one sent.

Keep in communication with them and I know that you will find a resolution. Attack has always been a great company for me to work for and I am sure that they will do everything they can to help resolve this issue with you as they did mine. Even if you can't wait for the check to arrive and you end up payign the $25 bank fee to stop payment on the old check, you can write that $25 off on your taxes as a loss. Since promo models don't have taxes taken out of their checks, I would take all of the losses I could get! :)
