I'm not looking for a refund. I don't need the hassle! I've read many similar reports on the internet about this company.

Let the buyer beware!!!

"K-MRT Hardgoods National Brands Pallets FOB ME >> Items such as Small Appliances, Furniture, Sporting Goods, Tools Domestics, Automotive, & Much More! Wonderful Looking Pallets"

We saw the above information on the Web Wholesaler web site and called them. We spoke to what seemed to be a very helpful sales person. After a short time looking for something to replace another lot we really were interested in buying {which was sold out before we could move on it} we settled on the "K-MRT Hardgoods National Brands" material and bought three pallets at $325.00 per pallet. Now add to that the freight cost of over $500.00 to ship it to us and you get a pretty hefty sum before it's all finished. And you really don't know what it is you're buying. You only have the word of their staff and the description such as illustrated above. Remember, they say "Wonderful Looking Pallets" in the web page description. Let's not even get in to the propaganda they have on their informational pages within their web site leading you to buy with confidence.

We were lucky in that the carrier that handled the freight had a yard not too far from our base of operation. I have experience in freight expediting so I knew what I needed to get the stuff from the carrier's yard to where we wanted it. But this is where the first doubts came in to play. Remember, I dealt in driving freight. These "Wonderful Looking Pallets" came in wrapped so haphazardly that I wondered how they were able to ship them at all. If I were a driver in this case, I'd have to refuse the freight because it wouldn't stay together on the skids. Okay, most trucking companies are willing to take a load this way and if it breaks apart, oh well! I'd have made them re-wrap the load, but then, that's just me.

Now, I'm not accusing anyone of anything here but on two of the three pallets it was pretty clear that the pallets were picked. In other words, someone may have helped themselves to some of what we paid for. We have no way of knowing because there is no freight manifest. But we could tell that this may be exactly what happened. Hey, I used to be a Teamster in local 299. I've heard stories. I've seen it happen. Merchandise that 'falls off' of a pallet is sometimes fair game.

It gets worse.

What we received for our hard earned money was 75% junk. Pure, unadulterated JUNK! There was no way of knowing this fully until we got this crap to our storage area and were able to open the shipment fully. Shame on us for not refusing the shipment.

What follows is but a small example of the junk we received. There were a number of clocks with cracked glass faces. There were unboxed toilet seats with missing parts. There are a number of back-packs that are damaged. There are shelving sets that are missing parts. There was a nice 120 quart Igloo cooler that lost a fight with a fork lift {at least I may be able to repair that for sale}. Most of the load had "damaged - salvage" tags on it. Funny, but nobody mentioned that fact to me before I made the decision to buy this crap. But hey, these people are in the business to make a buck. Your buck my friend, and putting that price on a load of crap - most of which should have been relegated to a dumpster - should be a crime. They probably Thank God for the disclaimer that covers their asses. Well, here's my disclaimer. I'm not telling you not to buy any merchandise from My Web Wholesaler or any company like it. The decision to do that is yours and yours alone. But let the buyer beware!!!

The bottom line - We know there's no way to recoup our investment with this junk. We took a chance and lost. We won't make that mistake twice. We hope YOU won't make that mistake at all. That's why this report is posted.
