Can you believe with todays technology that a brandname such as Audi customer services are so bad they destroyed my credit rating.

Firstly thier website which allows you to enter detail for regular payments cancels my regular payment without telling me.  I catch the mistake and ask for a paper copy.

I mail it to them in plenty of time. I go to Europe for Christmas / New Year vacation and I find on my return they did not action/implement it causing a 30 day default on my account!  I immediately brpught my account upto date but they refuse to clear the default caused by them in the first place.

I write to customer services and talk to them, they admit they are under resourced telling me they have a high volume of requests for refunds from thier mileage fraud claims, and that is probably why my payment wasn't actioned.  Regardless they tell me my account was overdue and they have to report it as such.  I now have to write to Audi credit reporting department to beg them to change the default report due to multiple failures by Audi.

I asked for my complaint to be escalated, they wrote back and closed the case as being resolved.

I WILL NEVER TOUCH AUDI COMPANY AGAIN - Thier customer services suck.

Previous to this I have had Merceedes and BMW's, they have far superior customer service and funny enough they did not screw my credit report!  I've never experienced such a thing in my life,  How difficult is it to set up a regular payment, it appears to be impossible with Audi!

Timeline?

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, March 05, 2017

For your vacation to have any effect on the timeline and cause of the 30 Day late, you would have had to have been in Europe for at least 30 days AFTER the due date.

As if you left before the due date, you should have verified the funds were withdrawn from your bank account.  If you came back after the due date but before the 30 day mark, when you went to look at your bank account you should have noticed the payment not being taken out.

But even in Europe, it is hard to believe that not once in how ever long you were there that you did not review your bank account or check. After all as you stated with today's technology, things such as online banking should be standard.

So what day did you leave for Europe, what was the due date, and when did you return?
