scam took place in the desert crossing shopping center in palm desert california on dec 3, 2002 approx. 1pm. i bought 2 speakers for a total of $500. showed me the glossy brochure indicating the suggested price as $1495 each. the operation ran just as everyone else has indicated-basically the sales pitch was the same.

the guy i dealt w/stated that his name was mark and that he was from boston and that he lives in newport beach-he was a clean-cut white guy, 5'10", 180 lbs. and 27-34 years old.

the 2nd guy never got out of the vehicle. he was 30-35, white guy w/a goatee, hair past shoulder length and had tattoos

the vehicle was a newer model SUV with New Hampshire plates.
