Beware! This co. will solicit you with intentions to sell you photography services only!

A woman calling herself the "secretary" called me regarding my son to have him come down to a meeting. This of course was an urgent opportunity that would catapult his career. Beware! They provide nothing more for you and have no connection. They just like another Co. in Oakbrook deceivingly exist for no other good reason for you. Go ahead and ask themwhat they have done for anyone other than take their money. Don't be deceptively lured into paying them $500 for some pictures. If they really existed to help you out then they would't try to deceptively sell you services and would pay the fee for you.

Agency Composites

AUTHOR: producer1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 27, 2013

All Agencies require materials to send to casting directors to be considered for a job. ADL uses 5x8 card comps as well as demo reels DVD's to show how workable said talent is and if they are capable to do certain jobs.ADL will use materials from other sources as long as they fit their format. If not ..they wont.Period.

Should someone decide to use ADL to produce the materials They not only will send the parents some sample comps but they even now send the parents the artwork (compcard)and parents can "multilist" their child with other agencies should they want to,which of course will help increase them getting placed. Remember...41 years licensed by the State,,A+ BBB member....Audition Division cant make everyone happy. This is a tough business.

They say there are no Guarantees who picks their kids..its up to the casting peeps. This should be fun..if not dont do it....btw my kid graduated college and cant find a job and Im not upset at the college.Sooner or later she will...I hope.

Audition Division

AUTHOR: kimmyk - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 27, 2013

I want to say that I fell for the for it. They told me that i could get my daughter's comp cards from any where. When I stated that I would the guy John came right back with the statement that my cards would not be accepted by the agencies that they work with. I paid the $594 for the comp cards and the video. I was told that I would receive 20 of the comp cards for myself. 'Til this day February 27, 2013 I have not received any comp cards.

No problems here

AUTHOR: Average Joe - (United States of America)

My pictures turned out very good and I'm extremely happy with how the agency worked with me. They showed me samples of other clients pictures and comp's so I could see the quality of their work.

They gave me time to think over if I wanted to participate in their program. Their prices was very competitive and I was told I could get pictures anywhere I wanted, I was not committed to getting them through Audition Division.

The staff was very helpful and put my child at ease at the very first meeting. If you are looking for an agency to work with, I couldn't recommend Audition Division more. It was a wonderful experience.

AUTHOR: producer1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, October 20, 2012

As a producer that worked with them for a long time they are licensed, and have been around 40 years!/They tell EVERYONE modeling pics are necessary and you can get them where ever you like.period.Some people work with the agencies people and that is not free...no agency will give FREE materials to a beginner talent. If someone knows an agency that gives free materials to promote their talent let me know,I can send lots of people there

Audition Division Talent Agency

AUTHOR: producer1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 09, 2012

I have done work with the Audition Division for over 20 years.I am a freelance producer shooting pilots and Documentaries.I DO know that they say it the way it is and promise NOTHING.They even offer to help pay for comps and reels for the kids that need the help. On that note...they take it one step furthur and give the talent the composite artwork to help them "multi list" with other agencies.

Parents at times think that their kid should  or is the best of the best at everything they do...ie: sports, music, modeling, etc.HOW ON EARTH CAN ANYONE GUARANTEE that a casting director will pick their kid...they cant. Its a tough business and if you think that you have what it takes just make it fun for the kid.No pressure. Remember... 40 YEARS LICENSED BY THE STATE,MEMBER OF BBB AAA RATING.

Licensed Talent Agency

AUTHOR: producer1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 07, 2012
Audition Division is a Licensed Model and Talent Agency. It has been for 40 years. It has a AAA rating with the BBB.They are not a school. They do not charge a registration fee. They DO and will produce materials for beginner talent if they ( the talent) choose to use them.(at a discount) You can get materials ANYWHERE you want to promote your child. They take a commission when a child is placed on a paying job. They tell ALL parents that countless times before  the first audition .40 years as a licensed agency in Chicago and people...maybe competition Agencys make comments that try to hurt a good reputation. Not fair...but thats the internet. Shop around. Dont go with a place that will guarantee placement..no one can. Most important the kid must have fun..or dont do it.

Licensed Agency

AUTHOR: producer1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 07, 2012
Audition Division Ltd has been Licensed by the State for 40 years. They are a member of the BBB in good standing AAA rating. They do not charge a registration fee nor do they Make you pay for their services. They offer that if a client does not know where to get them produced (at around one third of other places )No Agency pays for materials for a kid that is a beginner in this field. If so I would love to know who...Ill bring my kids there too. Audition Division's "no connection" was with one of the biggest Agencies in Chicago and now is working with their top Agent for placements. There are alot of people...bitter people out there that say alot of half truths or they are competitors in the business trying to tarnish a name for their own gain. Regardless...40 years in Chicago,Licensed, Member of BBB AAA rating, No registration fees, not a school,A tell it like it is Agency with no false hopes and dreams for the clients.Make up your own mind and shop around There are alot of good Agencies in Chicago. Most of all, make it fun for your child. It's a tough business.

Really?

AUTHOR: producer1 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 05, 2011

As a producer that has worked with Audition Division's talent for over 20 years and worked with their talent in studio I think what they offer to New talent is great. They have been licensed for close to 40 years. They never guarantee work (how can they) in their contract it states  WE DON'T GUARANTEE.

In their contracts(yes they have contracts..20% of earnings /commission ) it states you can get your pics ANYWHERE you like.So...40 years in business/licensed by the State, can get pics where ever you like, tell you before hand they don't guarantee placement.Yes,they do charge if you have them produce comps/acting reels (should they do it for FREE for a beginner?) but they charge around 1/3 of going rates....again, you DONT have to give them one Penney to rep your child. Bottom line...any Agency you go to will need some kind of materials to show your child to advertisers.
