We booked a trip to cross the Antarctic Circle with Aurora Expeditions to fulfill our once in a lifetime dream. Aurora Expeditions sub-chartered their vessel (Polar Pioneer) to Waterproof Expeditions which sold that voyage under a different itinerary. The participants from Waterproof Expeditions knew even before the trip started that we will not be crossing the Antarctic Circle. Aurora Expeditions lied to us and used the weather as an excuse why were not able cross the circle. It was worth a fortune and physically taxing to undertake this trip only to find out that that we dealt with a dishonest and deceitful company that had no intent to fulfill the itinerary that was sold to us. Do not waste your money with this company.
