Aurora Loan Services Steals, Cheets And Lies ripoff ripoff business from hell Scottsbluf Nebraska

I recently sold a piece of property. When the title company contacted Aurora Loan Services, they were given the payoff amount. When the funds were released, Arurora Loan Services were wired their money.

The wire was recieved by them at 9:27 am PST. Five days later I was called by the title company and told that there was a problem with the payoff.

It appears that the title company had figured the payoff wrong... and thus the wire was about $78.52 short. Aurora Loan Services was now expecting a check for nearly $700.00.

They said that there were now late fees, extra interest and the original 78.52 that was owed to them. I called and asked why they accepted the wire if it was short. "Claudet" told me that they recieved the payoff after business hours and they didn't notice it until now (5 days later!)

She was "going to do a favor" for me by back dating the late fees and now I would only be responsible for $324.62. (What a great favor...huh?)

I went around and around with Claudet. Why did they accept the payoff if it wasn't the correct amount? (IT was after business hours...)

Well then, why are you now calling us 5 days later? (We get 10,000 payoffs each day...we now noticed it was wrong...)

So then...Why didn't you hold it for another 10 days and charge me $15,000? (Are you serious...?) This company is a bunch of scam artists! Everyone that I spoke with said they were a supervisor.... Wow sounds like a lot of chiefs over there at Aurora!

She finally back dated it again and said that it was the best she could do. ($189.49!) If I didn't know better, I would have thought that this money was hers!

I caught Claudet in several lies.

1) They didn't get the payoff after business hours. They recieved the payoff at 9:27 am PST. Well, I guess that they stay open until after 12:30? Siesta maybe?

2) She also said that the law gives them 72 hours to inform of payoff mistakes. (There is no such law! It is Aurora policy! What a great way to rake in some more 'dirty money.')

I have already spent way too much time over this for a hundred bucks. I am sure that if they do this for $100 they would do worse for more money!

Beware of this company, their fraudulant tactics and their unethical business practices. I will never deal with them again...if I can help it!
