Australian Sweepstakes Lottery Sent letter with a check, then wanted me to pay money in order to collect prize Toronto Ontario

Received letter dated 6/6/08 and a check in the amount of $4,980.00 drawn on Bank One, in Columbus Ohio. The letter states to contact a Mr. Dominic Adams at 1-905-598-4397 prior to depositing the check. When I called this number, the voice box was full and was not accepting any more calls. The letter states that I need to pay $3,980.00 by Western Union or Moneygram for further instructions. I did not respond to this letter. Last week this place called my office and gave me the same instructions. When I asked the person on the other line for more information, he was rude. So, I became just as rude and I hung up on this person. Needless to say, I would never send money to someone without knowing what it's for. Contact names on this letter were Tim Michael, Promotion Manager and Mr. Dominic Adams, Claims/Disbursement Agent. It's a shame that these people can get away with this crap and steel money from unsuspecting people. I hope you can do something about this.
