On 8/18/2006 Authorized movers came 3 1/2 hours late. After they were 1 1/2 hours I called office to question where they were. They said they would get back to me.

45 minutes later I get a call from the driver(chewing) that he would be there in a 1/2 hour. Most items were prepacked. There was a mirror for the dresser that they packed for $64.00. I called the company beacuse I thought this was way too much. I thought maybe they would let it go since they had been 3 1/2 hours late. But no.

When they finally got it all packed I tipped them. I didn't realiaze that there were going to be 3 of them. I had put aside certain amount. When I gave it to the main guy he said. "aren't you $20.00 short?" I wanted to grab it all out of his hands but I figures that he would damage my stuff or retaliate somehow.

I felt threatened. When they had first gotten there one of the helpers had expressed an interest in my bike that wasn't going. I had told him $25.00. He didn't look like he could afford it, but he said he would ask the main guy(maybe he was going to ask for a loan). when I was told the tip was not enough I figured I would give the bike to the helper. He was working the hardest so I felt sorry for him.

Then the the main guy (I think his name was Julius)tried to trade the tip for the bike. By far the bike was the worth more than the tip. I hope the helper ended up with it in the end.

I felt that I should follow the truck to the weighing station but it was rush hour by then and would take along time there and back so I didn't. Now I am told I was over another $400. I doubt it. I was told by another moving company that the extra weigh I was told should be $200.00 only.

I was told when I signed up with this mover that my things would be there in 5 to 10 days. Repeated calls to the company have not produced a date for delivery. The person on the other end came up with every reason in the book why my things were still in some warehouse in Tampa.(Hurricane coming. The roads were closed(not), there were no trucks. I had told them that my fiancee was not able to receive the shipment for 10 days (not)- he lives and works at the destination address so he is there all the time. My fiancee and myself have called the company trying to get a delivery date. I want my stuff!!!

Ian is the gentleman that signed me up. Of course I can't get to talk to him.
