auto action drive now, inc ripped off down payment glendale, Arizona

I purchased a car from this company, I didnt have all the down payment of 1,000. They agreed I can make the rest of the payment in 2 weeks. When I was leaving the lot, the "check engine " light came on. I told my salesman Sam before I left and he told me to take it over to their repairman.

I made an appointment with the repair dept and they said it was fixed. Again, before I drove it off the lot the light came back on. I turned around and told the repairman and he said he would need to keep it for a day to check everything out. I made another appointment to let the car stay there and after picking up the next day, the light was off.

After a few days the light came back on and I called my salesman back and said I no longer want this car, something is wrong and they cannot fix it.He said to bring it in and they can put me in another car. I left work and brought the car in and he took the key and saw the check engine light on. I asked what car he has in mind for me and he said without paying the other 500 left, they cannot let me take the car off the lot or put me in another car.

I told him no way was I going to pay any additional money on a car something is obviously wrong with, and he said theres nothing they can do for me then. I asked to talk to the manager and he agreed that was their policy and left me stranded in GLENDALE with no transportation.

I had to call my husband at work to come and pick me up.

I'm in the process of filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General office on this company.
