Auto class direct car lot 825 K Ave plano Texas we bought a car there from John he lied about everything. The car ended up being a piece of junk. Before we made our first car payment we had already spent over $300 in repairs. They sold us a piece of junk and when we complained they told us the car was as is and tried to get us to buy parts at their cost and have their mechanic to fix it. They said this car had a clear and good carfax and was a one owner. Even the owner said the car was a good car we believed them. Now the car has broken down a second time and now its a different problem that's going to cost even more money. The carfax said no accidents but the car had been wrecked and not repaired when we bought it, my body guy told me the reason they sell them this way is so they can brag about a no accident carfax but when we go to have the damages repaired it will show accident on my car fax when i go to sell it or trade it in. Just about all the cars on their lot have carfax stickers in the window but there is damage that has not been fixed yet and its going to have a clean car fax. another thing when we looked under the hood it was clean and shinned, our mechanic said this place is known for scraping and power washing under the hood of the car to make people think they have been well kept when in fact there may have been an oil leak or some tell tell signs that the cars have problems. We had a weird feeling when we were in this place everyone seemed creepy. The man who did our paperwork was weird and scary we both felt uncomfortable closed in his office. we got a funny feeling something was not right but we bought anyway we trusted them they seem nice but are the biggest snakes in town. We are having to spend way to much money on this piece of junk. This car was way over priced and out interest rate is 24%, they took our big down payment and pocketed it, non of it went on the car. Auto class direct sell cleaned up junk.

my brother was going to buy a car here but knock on wood he didn't because later we found out so many bad thing about the truck he was looking to buy. don't ever leave money down because you may have a hard time getting it back from these people. we are never going back to this place. they wasted so much of our time it was ridiculous. they want more and more money and then give excuse after excuse, then try to get you to buy another piece of junk on their lot. we went in for a truck and they told us everything was great and when we went back they wanted us to look at some other pieces of junk. lied over the phone to get us back over there.

Honest Opinon, Poor Quality Cars

AUTHOR: larry - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, January 12, 2013

We bought three cars from this place but it was named Dallas Roaster at that time and the cars were always nice that's why we went back this fourth time to buy my grand daughter a car. When we pulled up we noticed the cars wasn't as nice as before, this is when we learned that a new set of owners own it now and the new name is in fact auto class direct. We noticed the atmosphere was not a good or nice as when it was dallas roaster. The cars are kind of run down and have damage.

I believe the guy who  helped us was john, or brother i don't remember but to make a long story short we didn't believe anything he was saying and wasn't about to put our grand daughter any of the cars they showed us. We were disappointed, we didn't like the cars or the atmosphere. I wish we'd known it wasn't dallas roster any longer this would have saved us a long out of town drive, time and gas. I wouldn't pay cash for a car there unless I was a mechanic to make the soon to come repairs. I wouldn't give a big down payment over $1000 for the said to be great running cars. We couldn't believe the BS they were talking to us they sounded convincing but we didn't fall for it. My honest opinion is, be careful buying a car at this place. They didn't seem trustworthy.

Auto Class Direct Plano, Tx is not a good place to buy a car

AUTHOR: Bad place to buy a good car - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, December 30, 2012

My girlfriend wanted a car from auto class direct. The online site and pictures looked really nice so I drove from out of town to check the car out. The car she wanted was a very poor car the pictures looked good but the car was in bad shape from a mechanic point of view. It would have lasted for a fer months but would have been a money drinker.
I spoke a strawberry blonde guy who told me he was the sales manager running the dealership and he went on and on about about how good this car was but what I didn't tell him is that I'd sold cars for over 10 years. He didn't know what he was talking about and he looked me straight in the face as he lied about the car. I am also a certified mechanic of which he did not know either, the cars had a engine problem and transmission problem.
We left and he continued to call my girlfriend to come back and buy a car and we ignored his calls. I don't know where this guy got his car selling experience but he sucks.
-If you live out of town, I highly suggest you don't drive a long way or a short ways to find out the car is a piece of junk. And don't fall for that carfax story because they are not 100% accurate and you have to jump through so many loops to qualify CARFAX GUARANTEE and the average person will loose. We bought a car somewhere else and the engine wasn't washed. All dealerships don't power wash their engines so don't fall for the engine is clean talk. Some advise for people who have bad credit, places like this will use scare tactics to get big down payment money from you hold your money. Tax time is here the less down payment you disclose to this mom and pop car lot the better off you will be, if they lied to my girlfriend then they will lie to you too. And yes I also noticed that most of their cars had some body damage or inside damage they tried to buff and patch over. Do your home work and go with you instinct. If it don't feel right don't buy there. Go somewhere else and shop. Ladies watch out don't believe the 'I'm helping you out'. There are thousands of places to buy a car.

I would rather ride a motor scooted than buy a car at this car lot.

When you looked at this car, was it in a "wrecked" condition?

AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 25, 2012
.." the car had been wrecked and not repaired when we bought it,..

If so and you also bought it "AS-IS", the dealer owes you nothing and you shouldn't buy cars on your own.

hood it was clean and shinned, our mechanic said this place is known for scraping and power washing under the hood of the car to make people think they have been well kept when in fact there may have been an oil leak or some tell tell signs that the cars have problems.

Your mechanics word is worth nothing..he's just trying to look good...ALL dealers clean up under the hood, it's part of the total clean up process.  Savvy buyers know to look beyond the "shinny" parts.

Your credit must also be totally in the toilet as you say you're paying 24% when a buyer with good credit can get less than 5%.

" they took our big down payment and pocketed it, non of it went on the car."

Why didn't you check to be sure the down payment was shown on your WRITTEN agreement as credited to the car?  If you have trouble reading/comprending take a third grader with you next time to explain it to you.
