I bought a jetta from avery auto sales in april of 08. On the second day of driving it I was on my way to work when the electric mirror caught on fire.when the fire was out I drove it back to the lot. I told them what happen and I am leaving it there and they said "its yours park it where ever you want" they didnt want to do anything about it. I had to sit in front of their office for 4 hours before they would talk to me. They are all dishonest a**holes. After I told a few potential buyers what happen to me they came out and let me trade for a 2006 malibu. on the third day of driving it I had to have it towed to the chevy dealership and has gave me problems of not turning over. When it does that I have to leave it where it sits over night and it will start when I go back. I will NEVER deal with them again.

buyers beware my wife and i purchased a 2005 car from there they told us they would fix the brakes if we bought it well we did and they had there good for nothing mechanic look at it and he said they need spraying and he fixed them. 2 days later they were cutting into rotors and they say they cant fix breaks unless we got it in writing this came from the 2 salesman who said they would have them fixed if bought. to make matters worse after having car 2 weeks the back right wheel locked upand they refuse to fix it so i have learned my lesson from buying from them and will not send anyone else there. pls dont let this happen to you.

Do not trade with these people. They sold me a vehicle that broke down within 2 days of purchase. after I refused to pay the downpaymen, they placed a judgement on my credit report. Please don't get swindeled by these people.

you have to watch them they will sell you a vechicle that has been wrecked and when the bondo starts to come off they wont let you trade it back in.

AS IS !

AUTHOR: Owner - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 28, 2008

WHY ?
----do consumers expect dealers to be responsible for everything that goes wrong with their car, FOREVER !

ALL customers sign several AS IS forms at time of purchase. This means it is now yours, just like you got your husband/wife for better or worse !
Customers need to understand that a car is a U S E D MACHINE.
Parts do get worn ,torn , broke etc.

Dealers do try to condition vehicles for resell or reuse of a U S E D machine , but cant control an un-known part break down if its not broken before we sell. If your machine worked properly during TEST DRIVE and also a few more days then the dealer has done no wrong !

Now its YOUR - USED MACHINE and if it breaks its your broke machine ,so fix it ! just as you would if you had bought a used piece of jewelry and it broke.

As far as this dealer goes : you bought it AS IS, then you broke it! They still traded you another non-broke vehicle in good faith. They more than did you justice. You should apoligize for talking bad of them and refer everyone you know to a GREAT USED MACHINE dealer.

Check State Laws

AUTHOR: Karl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 20, 2008

New Mexico has a 500 miles 15 day "implied warranty" on used cars which says that they are fit to drive. If not the dealer must take them back. I would assume that your 2006 Impala is under warranty. If you you shouldn't have bought it. Why go to those used car dealers anyway? You should buy from a private owner or a recognized new car dealer that sells cars with warranties. New car dealers auction off cars that are substandard. Check state laws for "implied warranties".
