DriveTime Car Sales Ripoff They lied and ripped us off at a very critical time in our life. Ocala Florida

At the time we were up to date and on time on our payments. WE got into an accident which was not our fault. It tore the truck up real bad and was put in the shop. Both my husband and myself were hurt pretty badly, I had just had open heart surgery and had only been out of the hospital for 4 days, so I was put back into the hospital. We had contacted Drive Time and explained what had happened and that we were both hurt pretty badly. My husband had to go to the Dr's almost every day with lots of tests. WE explained to Drive time that when we started to recieved money from the insurance we would make our payments. When we recieved our first check we made a payment. The money ran out and my husband had still not been released to go to work, but would soon. We spoke with often and they always told us that it would be ok and not to worry. We honestly believed them. THAT was a big mistake. The day my husband was to return to work they came out and repossed it. Now my husband could not return to work and we had no money to buy another vehicle because our attorneys dropped the case because the truck that hit us did not have the proper insurace. So now we are with out a vehicle and only my small disabilty check on which to live and the repo makes it very difficult to get another vehicle with no money to put down. Our life has been distroyed over this. We can not get dr's, work , or stores. I think they were really wrong for what they did to us. I appreciate this site to warn others to stay away from DriveTime becase they will ripp you off.
