Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy a car here. Buying a car is never a fun time but this has been the worst one ever. My fiance and I bought a car from Wanner in Nov 09. Let me start by saying that the first "finance" man we dealt with was allegedly fired for stealing money from customers. The second 'finance' man we dealt with was allegedly fired because he did not complete the loan papers and send them to the bank. We found this out in late Jan 2010 when we received a call from the dealership telling us that we needed to go in and sign again or they would take our car. Coincidently, I had attempted to reach this second 'finance' man more than a dozen times, left messages, etc because we never received any billing statements from a bank about our payments.     Now we know why. So anyway, we went back in late Jan to sign again only to find out that the APR increased which increased our payment. When I questioned this, I was told that I didn't have to sign but if I didn't they would take my car back AND they were not going to give me my trade back because they had paid it off already.      We live more than 2 hours from the dealer, with a 5 month old baby, what could we do? Walk home? We had no choice but to sign and they knew that. I was very unhappy with what happened. I left messages with the owner but, surprise, did not receive a call back. I have talked with my attorney and at his recommendation have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office. I happen to know that this also happened to about a dozen others (paperwork not submitted). Hopefully, they will also file a complaint.     My lawyer has told me they have to honour the first contract. When I mentioned this to the third "finance' man he said that would make Wanner Ford the leinholder and they would then take the car because I haven't made a payment yet! Who was I supposed to make a payment to? I DON"T have a loan yet! I have also spoke with the bank supposedly giving us the loan and the bank has never given a pre-approval for any loan request for me. They do not know who I am.     I have also talked with PA DOT and 3 other dealers to find out if any of this is legal. Everyone tells me that if Wanner renigs on the contract they must return my downpayment and my trade. Apparently, they allowed us to drive off in a car that we don't even have a loan for AND they paid off my trade even though they haven't been funded by the bank for the car they are selling to me.     Now, Wanner wants me to sign papers for a 3rd time and if I don't sign them they will take the car and not return my trade. Does anyone else think this is ludicrous. We feel like we are being strong armed into this. The tactics are reprehensible.  If you are one of the dozen people that this happened to, please contact the Attorney General's Office.
