These people sold a real lemon to my son. Now they want to charge him $2500.00 for the two days he was able to drive it. They lie, try to accuse you of doing damange to the car, their mechanics obviously are sub-par (former mechanic left because of the shady things they do, like putting a couple used parts on a vehicle and the owner, peter khouri saying "write the bill up as if we did alot of work to it". They over charged for the car, then falsified documents so the loan could go through (my son was not working at the time and has not for 4 months but they told the finance company he had $2500.00 of his own cash to put down, which he did not and that he was workiong full time, when he was not).

The owner, peter khouri said bad things about us to my son, lied to us and my son, and now we are in the process of reporting them to the Attorney Generals office and the Better Business Bureau. Do not do business with these losers, they are the epitome of the worst type of used care salesmen there is. Don't get screwed by them, avoid them completely.

I also got ripped of by Auto First

AUTHOR: mitchie8192 - ()

POSTED: Thursday, August 22, 2013

Back in January of 2013 I bought a car from Auto First. They sold it to me in "great condition" for around $7,000. Little did I know, it was not in great condition at all! From the time I got it off the lot to work in Shrewsbury I already had 2 warning lights. The next day my check engine light came on. So I took it back to the dealership and told them they need to fix it. Well they replaced the valve gasket cover, the bulb for the break light, and the fog light which had water damage. A few days later the check engine light came on again. So I took it back and they said it needed an air pump. They said they could not replace that because it is not a warranty part. I said that there is no reason I should be having this many problems when I just got the car and not to mention in was inspected only a couple weeks before I bought it. (They do their own inspections). So I told them again that they need to fix it, but they wouldn't and they said that they were nice enough to replace the Valve Gasket Cover out of their own pocket even though it wasn't a warranty part. My fiancee and I were very unhappy with them. I told them that I hope they enjoy a bad reputation because I will tell everyone I come across not to go there and I will be talking to an attorney. I've had the car for about 8 months now and since day one I've had multiple warning lights and have put $1,000 into the car with much more needed work that I cannot afford. The check engine light has still been on since the day after I got it. The battery went out and also the ignition switch, letting me stranded in Lancaster. The coolant is leaking. Low beam failures. The car smokes under the hood from time to time. The AC doesn't work. The alarm goes off randomly when its sitting in an empty parking lot with nothing around it. That's only the half of it. I think theres also something wrong with the wiring. Also I did a carfax on the car today and found out that it was in 2 accidents before I had it, which they failed to mention.  This place is such a ripoff!!! Do not go to Auto First in Mechanicsburg, PA!!!

Joe is upset over a vehicle his son purchased from Auto First, whom I worked for at the time. Joe's son never once complained about the vehicle nor did we ever hear from him. It is very unfair for Joe to complain about a vehicle his son purchased, when he and his wife, seen and approved the  vehicle when one of the sales people drove it to their house.

**Yes, John Khouri, son of Peter Khouri, my son complained to you 3 times about it stalling and not starting, all within the first 3 days.  Did you forget you came out to fix it to get it started and told him not to let the gas get below a quarter tank even though it had a half a tank in it, AFTER you sell him the car?  Yes, I did see it, but never approved it because just a brief once over told me it was beat, not worth anywhere near what you were asking for it.  I had worked as an inspection mechanic at a very reputable gas station and still do my own work and maintenance on vehicles.  I know what a lemon is.  I also know shoddy repairs when I see it.  This car was a nice looking car... from a distance, but was pure junk up close and mechanically and bald tires were put on it after the sale.  Nice friend you turned out to be.  I guess that the acorn really doesn't fall far from the tree **

Joe later on claimed that his son did not know how to drive manual transmission nor was he employed.

**Yes, I told them that he was unemployed, but they didn't care - payments were over $800.00 a month!  Driving a stick never came up.**

2 things: 1 - His son drove the vehicle off the lot when he purchased it, indicating he knew how to drive a manual.

**Yeah, and this is somehow an important fact to you?**

2 - A bank would never give a loan to anyone unless they provided proof of income in the form of a pay stub, or the bank verified employment of an applicant.

**Yes, a bank never would.  Remember you had a bank loan written up for the $2500.00 down payment that my son did not have?  Remember it fell through?  Remember you sent the taxes into PennDot in place of my son because he did not have even that money....BECAUSE HE WAS NOT WORKING and you were desperate to "make a sale"? The main financing was through a finance company that you were friends with but also lied to in order to make the sale.**

In conclusion, I have never met Joe, only spoke to him once on the telephone. There was never an issue with the car, after all it was a Toyota Celica with little over 50 k's and there was no issue with the financing . It was Joe that did not want his son to have the vehicle for some reason, almost a week after his son took possession of the vehicle. Futhermore, if there was any problem that Joe had, he should have also addressed it to the bank that gave his son the loan.

**Did you forget about how it left him sit several times and he called you about it each time?  After all, the type of car and the mileage has absolutely no bearing on whether it is a good car or not.  This was not taken care of.  No issue with the financing again is because it was a finance company that you lied to, and of course they will give financing to anybody at a 30% interest rate.  Talk about one dirty company being in bed with another dirty company.  And yes, I did address the entire issue to the finance company.  Get your facts straight.  They apparently did not like the possibility of the Attorney General getting involved. **

Auto first is a joke

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

Now these people are charging $20.00 a day storage on the car that they took back. Talk about greedy! Also, just found out that the $2500.00 down payment that they financed through another finance company fell through. Hmmmmm, this tells me that the original contract is completely null and void, which means he could not have owned the car. The owner did not even notify my son that the loan on the down payment did not go through, and he knew since the 19th of November. Talk about the lowest of the low when it comes to used car salesmen! peter kouhri should be ashamed of himself, but that is too much to ask of a person who does not have a shred of integrity and is this desperate for money. Stay away from auto first. Far away!
