I took my pampered Executive Edition Lincoln Continental into Walmart to have the oil changed while I was shopping for groceries, figuring I would "kill two birds with one stone," by getting my groceries while waiting on the car. Well, that is EXECTLY what I did, not knowing that the second bird would actually be my CAR!
My garage keep, rarely driven, 1994 with only 43,000 miles is now my NEVER DRIVEN, broke down in my front yard, BIRD POOP COLLECTOR!!!
I took it to a REAL auto shop 2 days after having the oil changed at Walmart because I noticed a funny noice coming from the engine. Come to find out they put in two extra quarts of oil in it!! Wasn't that nice of them!
Well, to make a very long and sad story short, I have spent about $2,500.00 for the engine to be repaired and the knocking is still louder then a locomotive train! I finially raised my white flag of defeat and deceided that it was not worth the headache or the money, and I bought a brand new car.
I am writting this complaint in hope that I can prevent this from happening to anyone else!! DO NOT have your oil changed at WALMART!!! They may have the cheapest prices in town but trust me, you will end up spending more in the long run.

Would anyone take their car to a walmart for a oil cahnge? stick with sears if you want to take it to a department store at least they hire trained auto techs,
wallmart you be lucky if the guy speaks english and has a high school diploma. Joe i kno this guy works on his car on the weekends, ok hire him he be in charge of our new automotive department.
Thats how i feel everytime I walk into a wallmart. King of the hill and the simpons have great shows on "wallmart" Wallmart is ok to buy things at but i would never trust them to work on my vehical never mind my bigwheel. If i were you I would realy hire a good lawyer If you can Prove that their mechanic has no degree in automotive then he should'nt be working on cars at all.
